Hello Mylotters. I would like to ask your opinion what gift ideas is better to give as a birthday present to my hubby. I have no idea what else to give since I have bought under wear and sando before. I was thinking about buying him a belt too. Any other great gifts or treats you can give your hubby during his birthday? I will be happy to hear your suggestions.

hello there...i also have a problem like you coz my husband's birthday is also coming...what i am thinking to give him is a perfume...his favorite one or a wallet since his wallet is quite old now...
but i guess anything that we give them will be much appreciated...anyway its the thought that counts...and what i am always doing during his birthday is to keep awake on the midnight before his birthday coz i want to greet him on the first minute of that special day of him...a greeting and a kiss! hehehe
i also cook the food that i know that he likes the best...he's happy with that.
greetings to your husband!

Hi strawberrychocodahi,
I guess I am a bit late, but then if your hubby's birthday is still round the corner then I suggest you can make a bouquet of all things that he craves for, it can be any small things like his favorite razor to some accessories that he likes.......making a bouquet makes it look like a huge gift........also you can cook some great food for him......but make sure it with style and is a candle lit one, decorate the table with some flowers, aroma candles, and the food well garnished..........
This would really make his day..........and also add a romantic essence to it........do let us know how did you celebrated your day !!!!
And wish him happy returns from my side as well !!!!

Hi John, actually you are not yet late since his b-day is still next month. Since I don't have much time going out to buy, i did asked Mylotters now so I will have an idea ahead oftime. I'd be traveling again so I'd be on and off Mylot. Anyway, nice idea of how to make it unique and special. I already picked what to give him since he badly needs it even if he doesn't tell me. Thanks for your response. I will surely post next time what happened.

A belt and a wallet will do. If he's a coffee drinker, you can add a a mug too. You can give him a polo shirt as well with his favorite color or a surprise party with his unexpected friends coming over.

There are practically an infinite number of gift ideas, try looking for something that your hubby needs urgently, there are plenty of things you can think of there, I'm sure. Or try buying him things that he can use for his hobbies, you know his hobbies, you can explore the number of possible gift ideas there.
You can also visit http.//www.gifti.us for more cool ideas. Good luck!

i think you can ask your hubby what he wants, it's very direct but no surprise. so it's not choice. i agree.
my husband's birthday was in May, i bought him a DVD he mentioned before. he said he wants to buy one. Then i bought it for him. At his birthday we watched the DVD, it was really fine.
so if you can remember what he wants or he mentioned it would help you to resolve your problem.
i noticed you like to buy clothes for your hubby, in this case how about a tie? I think tie is very important to man.

Nice one, but i really can't ask him coz i want it to be a surprise too. About tie, well he works in a call center, he does not wear a tie. He is using a casual polo short sleeves. But anyway i really appreciate your response. Happy Mylotting.

hello strawberrychocodahi... we all have the same problems when it comes to gift giving. though i still dont have a husband but i do have a boyfriend. but many birthdays of him comes still ihavent given him any... not just on our anniversary!
i have given him his longed cellphone brand and a very nice one too. its a savings i have been keeping for this special day. that is all in one. what is really important my friend is the thought of giving it to him and your all out love. you can even suprise him with a very nice hot bath, clean nice dress, a good dinner with your hubby and children... or a night out, or something memorable... what is important is that you celebrated it together and the love you shown him.

Yes that is true, what counts most is the thought, not the value or price of the gift. It will also be considered a treat, like a good dinner, a nice bath together and everything simple to think about, that can also be a good offer as a gift. Thanks for your response.
