are you really health conscious???????????

Hello friends, Many say that you should be health conscious every time and should eat and drink keeping in mind about your health. But how many of us are able to do this???? Atleast I could not.. So, I want to ask you are you really health conscious and do you really follow the health charts???? If yes or even if no tell me some basic steps how to do the same?????

Hi, friend. I should say that i am health conscious but not suffering from the health-mania that many do. That is, i take care of the important aspects related to my health (like, i don`t smoke or intoxicate etc.) but i don`t restrict myself from heavy/junk food, cold drinks etc. For compensating the effect of the junk food etc., i do some work-out and yoga. That helps a lot in making my body flexible and tough so that i don`t get many injuries. But, about those health charts, i never look at them. Happy Mylotting!!

nope, where did you draw this inference from? I never said i fall ill much. Actually, if you leave out some really particular instances, with God`s grace, i don`t fall ill much, as i practice regular yoga and work-outs.

I am very health conscious....and all it took was to end up in the hospital and being diagnosed with diabetes. When i got home i started reading everything that i could about getting healthy naturally. I was on insulin, and pills for not only diabetes, but for cholesterol, and high blood pressure. I started with changing my diet, and cleansing my body of toxins, I eat only organic foods now. I cut out all processed foods, and anything that has high fructose corn syrup in it. I started exercising everyday, i try to walk everyday, or i put on some music and start dancing around the living room, i also have a re bounder, that i use everyday, just put it in the living room and bounce while watching TV. I also started using supplements, and adding extra fiber to my diet. I realize that it is not easy to do all these things at first, but once you make up your mind to do them, and you make them a part of your life it gets easier to do. and when you start feeling better and better it makes it real easy to do. today i am off all prescription medication and everything that was wrong with me has reversed itself, and everything is within a normal range again.

So, up till now I can sense that a person can be health conscious only after getting into some troublesome conditions. But it is nice to see that you have maintained yourself well after your diabetes. Happy mylotting.

I am, it started when I discovered something bad about my health. Since then I check what foods I take, and aside from my daily routines I have to add up some work outs.

So now are you regular about taking proper diets at proper times?? If yes how you achieve this?
