my daughter asked me to pull out my highschool yearbooks to see what i looked like in school. i ended up taking a trip down memory lane by looking at the pictures of my fellow students and wondering what they are doing now. would you like to keep in contact with all your highschool class? do you keep in contact with anyone? while i was looking at the book, i saw friends and others that used to pick on me. i hope they have gotten their just desserts by now! lol have you looked at your year books lately?

My school life wasn't a happy one my friend and to be honest I have burnt anything to do with my school life, so nothing is left, nothing that can remind me of the time I was bullied and made very unhappy, I do not want reminders around me, the past is something I need to forget to be able to cope with the present and certainly move on. School life was something that I do not cherish or remember fondly. And I am a strong believer in karma and I hope that those classmates who bullied me and made my life hell are reaping the bad karma by the bucketload, I have no desire to see any of my fellow students.

It's been a few years since I glanced at my high school yearbooks. I do keep in touch with a few classmates. Our class was huge. We had close to 1,000 kids graduate the year I graduated. We had class reunions every 10 yrs. since graduation. This year it will only be 5 years after the last reunion. Our class is dwindling with age. We've been out of high school 45 years now. Some stayed in our area and others are scattered all over the country. Looking back on my picture, I don't see that many changes other than my hair is shorter now. I didn't listen to others picking on me if they did. Was so involved in sports it didn't bother me what the other girls were saying. Had the same boyfriend throughout high school and we married 5 yrs. after graduation.

I recently got on facebook, but I was on myspace before and i had a bunch of people find me when I opened up with facebook. Alot more than myspace. I now have contacts with about 1/3 of the people I hung out with in school. i was in band and in choir and took extra carriculars all through out school. So, it's been sweet talking to every body I've been in touch with and I'm starting to talk to my old gal friends alot more as well. It's amazing what time can do for all wounds though and how much a person can grow and it's only been 8 years since we graduated school.

I sometimes do think about the past. The what if's. What if it had happen differently, things of the present would change as we know it of course. With regards to my high school friends, i still keep in touch with them up to now.

I didn't keep any memories of my childhood and now I'm regreting it. Anyways it's interesting how your memory line can sometimes affect the present.

None of the schools I went to here in the UK ever did the whole Yearbook thing..the only thing close I can recall would have been the Annual class group photos throughout Primary School (Elementary) and the wallet sized "Mugshots" that went along with them! You had the option of collecting the photos of your friends and classmates and putting them into a card A5 wallet-I can remember one of those at our house that hadn't been put together too carefully..the photos were partly from my class, and some were from my Younger Brother's classmates! I still have the memories of "The old Gang" and sometimes wonder if I'll bump into any of them again..but then,if you're interested in reminiscing on old school memories, there are websites like "friends reunited" that can put you back in touch..

Yeah, last month I had the opportunity to look at pictures of the past. Thinking and remembering the past has always been a delight for me. I have such a wonderful youth life. Friends were great and has been real fun to be with. My student life has been challenging and meaningful too. Picture brought memories like they have just been yesterday. My past experiences would flood like a fast river flowing in my mind. Sometimes I would laugh all alone while there are also times I would shed a tear. Nostalgic feelings fill me as good people I met before are no longer around.
