Capitalism is what America was founded on. That, racism, and democracy[which was originally Republicanism]. I don't agree that people should follow capitalism, however in America there is just so much that people are willing to taint. I live in America, and I wish every day that it was really what it is cranked up to be.

Ok, so it didn't start on a perfect keel, I'd agree. Capitalism isn't the problem, nor is the right amount of regulation. However, both capitalism and regulation have been abused. Capitalism never grants employers the right to abuse employees, but government failed to regulate it, or to enforce assault and battery laws.
When government failed, we responded by granting it more authority... which it used to fail again.

Althouh I completely and utterly agree with you have to understand this without a bias. If you know that it is WRONG to steal and you rob an old lady of her purse you are then at fault. While you should be punished, it is not the old ladies fault that you stole from her, it is yours. Thusly you are punished. Any who you stated that:
"capitalism isn't the problem, nor is it the wright amount of regulation. However, both capitalism and regulation have been abused. ...government failed to regulate it, nor to enforce assault and battery laws."
Firstly, this is not a case of assault and battery, this is a case of intimidation. Thusly, while your reasoning is legitimate, your argument is not. However, my bias is geared towards you friend I agree with you but I'm afraid the truth is the truth. The fact is we as people are responsible for our own actions and weather the government stands for that, we have no control. It is better for a man to learn from his mistakes and the mistakes of others in order to be successful. We cannot continue to count on our government. Because the fact of the matter is that the people of our country can only do so much, and even still they have there own biases. A bias is such a powerful thing in our mentalities as people. It controls most of our daily lives actually. It is in this case that we cannot continue to simply rely on our government to help us with every single issue that we have. We have to take responsibility for our own actions and realize that this is the "only most perfect route." I would explain more, because I'm sure that my statement does not contain enough information for any one to understand my full point.

So would you put politicians who have more rights than citizens with that?

I agree, it would seem that the richer you are the less you have to abide by the law.
"give a rich man an amount of money he needs to pay, and he'll pay it to avoid consequence of murder."

I don't either and reading that list.....it is not a country I want to live in.
I don't understand hating the rich....who do think pay the most in taxes and bankrolls most of social programs in this country. People should love the rich without them who would pay for it all?

I don't see how anyone can hate the rich and claim to be against bigotry.

Great article om this in Newsweek last week on how we need the rich from philanthropy to taxes to spending to prop up the economy.
We are reaching a point where there is so much more money in the hands of the top one percent taht it breeds a sense of "we'll never make it" and real issues are masked under the heading of "they want to stoke class warfare".
We need the rich... but we also need the opportunity to have frair and open debate without casting names at the debaters.

Does belief in Democracy count? Yes, but most the far left people I know aren't big fans of democracy either. In fact, if they could keep Obama in office for the rest of his life, they would scrap the whole voting thing.

Well the Democrats disenfranchised millions in Florida and Michigan last year and Not one politician on the left opposed the voter intimidation by Black Panthers in Pennsylvania or the fact that the Obama administration pardoned them AFTER they'd been convicted. I think it's quite clear where the left in this country really stands on democracy.
