Kris Aquino for Senator?

During her speech yesterday at the final wake of her mother, former President Cory Aquino, Kris Aquino vowed to support her brother Senator Nonynoy Aquino and will continue her parents' advocacy in fighting for our democracy.
In her recent interview, Kris did not say that she will run for Senator but may consider it if she feels it is already the right time.
I don't know Kris personally, but who would not know her colorful personal life as she is a public figure? What I saw her now is the maturity to handle pressure and her strength to solve problems.
Although I think she needs a little more time and knowledge about politics, I think she can be a good senator someday.
What are your thoughts?

Someday maybe..But then during the interview that i saw when she was if shes running for position in the politics..she said that her mom told her if she plans of running for senator and wins, she need to live a simple life..so she then decided that shes not running for senator because she cant live a simple life..someday maybe..when shes ready for all that. who know she might just decide and run for senator and i agree..she would be a good senator.

kris aquino is a very good actress host ant mother, so probably became a senator, she has a thought that really encouraging people, give some lesson and advice, she share her life every now and then, now please leave kris aquino a quite life and mind to still think about the very hard contract.

[b][/b]Ninoy and Cory have done a lot for the Filipino people, and Kris have done a lot of controversies, Noynoy, I have not heard of something interesting he had done yet since he won as a senator. They maybe children of great couple but that doesn't mean they can be as good as them or good enough to run for a public office. Let's wait and see. For Kris as senator?well....????? I just hope that people are wise enough to choose a good candidate not because of the family name but for their accomplishment.

Well, I haven't really assumed that she's gonna be ready to run for Senator. I think that she just meant to say that she'll continue her mom's advocacy with her own way. That doesn't mean that she'll run for a position, but who knows in the near future, she might get the simplicity that her mom wanted for her to continue for her candidacy.

I don't think so, she's a very frank person, sometimes not thinking what she's saying, for me she's much better as an actress.

Well I think I would think twice before I would support her. There are still many things that she has to prove to the public before running for it. I think that with what Cory has said she must learn to be humble first and be simple before she deserves to be seated in a political seat.

Although we all knew she was matured now, now that she have no parents alive and no one to turn to for advice, I think it is still not time for her to run for Senator. IT will take time, the time that she is really matured and open for public service. It is good to have a Senator who is honest, we all know Kris of being frank of what she really feel.

It all depends once again.. She has the choice not to follow into the footstep of her parents because the life of politics is a very messy one.. ANy wrong step taken will result in alot of happenings.. ON top of that, she's still quite new to it, and thus she will be taken advantage of in certain things..
Waiting to be ready will be a good move, i gues.. IF not, she will definitely not be in the same league as her mom's legacy..

As I see her now, she changed a lot, from what an immature person, she is more than a woman now. A good public servant starts with a good individual. She might be a good public servant but not a politician. So why not?

There is a possibility, besides she is an Aquino, the blood of heroes runs her very vain. But it still needs time for her to adjust and learn more about politics and living a life which is not only showbiz.
She is intelligent and knows how to compose herself well in public. But she needs to control her temper too and tame her tongue because we all know she is "taklesa", very straight forward.
Maybe in due time, if she is also ready to campaign. But i guess she will support her brother Noynoy first. Happy Mylotting.

I think she's qualified enough, she's intelligent and rich and famous.

Haven't you guys heard what she said, she won't run for any public office. early this morning when i read the news papers, some were irritated about the rumors of Noynoy Aquino for President. Kris can face people but running politics is another thing. I see in her expressions that she's kinda not interested at all.
..maybe in time, but i see Noynoy possibility of running for President..

She maybe the famous of doughter of the couple we considered as heroes: Senator Ninoy and President Cory. However... I don't think Kris is going to be as great as her parents in terms of public service. Besides, her mom said it herself, that the only time Kris is ready for a public position is when she changes her lifestyle. I can't agree more with Cory.

Like what Cory said, Kris will only be ready for public office when she had transformed herself back to simplicity. At this point, she is a mother to Joshua and James. Let her feel domesticity before she embarks on a bigger role. After all, we still Noynoy in the senate.
