The Best Birthday Present Ever

We all have birthdays we can remember. Sometimes they might be for Bad memories of what happened, but hopefully we have some that have some Good memories for us as well. I know that there are a couple of Good memories that come to my mind when I think about my Birthdays over the yrs. but nothing beats my Birthday this yr.
For those of you who have been following my discussions I am sure you are familiar with my discussions about our Condo being for sale, then if you have noticed it is now Sold, and we were trying to find a New place to live as well which meant we were busy looking for a home and needing to find one fast. Well, we were able to find a home, make an offer, and our offer was accepted on my Birthday. My birthday was Tuesday August 4th. I had been Praying and God kept on promising me a home by my Birthday, and even when I was beginning to wonder our offer was accepted and now if everything can get signed and turned in, Financing worked out, etc. we are supposed to be out of our place and in our New one by September 4th.
So for me this will be a Birthday to remember, and will really become the Best the day we can really move in there for sure. So continued Prayers are appreciated and I will keep you all updated on this one as well. Has anyone else had a memorable birthday worth remembering as well?

Well, there are many times that looking back we may have a lot of Bad memories and times we do not want to remember, but hopefully in time you will find one that will decide to shine and rain down some Good memories for you as well.

It was a wonderful day. I did go out to Cheesecake Factory with my husband and a good friend and Celebrate, and since I also got the bid for the home accepted it made a Great day for sure. Hope you had a wonderful day as well.

Hi dorahuang! Welcome to mylot! Happy birthday, also! My birthday is February the 25th and I just about always buy myself a cake. I didn't this past birthday, though, because my sister and her husband came to see me and they brought me a cake. You see, both of my parents are passed away now and I live by myself. Mother used to make my cakes for me every year but then she got to where she wasn't able. Then, my sister started making them for me but then she got to where she wasn't able. She and her husband both bought the cake they brought me this last time. Otherwise, I just get myself a cake from Walmart, Food World (they went out of business here lately), or wherever. It will be stressful in the end, and it is still quite stressful trying to get all of the paperwork together, etc. and getting stuff packed, but I know that it will be worth it in the end. Thanks so much for your Prayers and well wishes as well.

That is an absolutely wonderful birthday gift, Tina! I'm very happy that you not only were able to sell your home but find another one so quickly! Of course, you realize that the hard part is the actual moving, right? I've moved so many times in my life that it would take a bulldozer to get me out of this house! LOL I'm so tired of moving!
Happy birthday, also! I've had one awesome birthday and it took place right here in myLot. My last birthday, back in April, when a fellow myLotter took it upon himself to wish me a happy birthday right in the forum. It was such a great surprise and made me feel so warm and loved.
Now, if God would only listen to the prayers I've asked for and get me approved for disability, I'll be one extremely happy camper! My hearing was waaaaaaaaaay back in February. The just sent me a letter on May 1st, telling me that he'd be making his decision in 10 days. That was over three months ago, now and my medical bills are piling up, I'm getting phone calls about them every day and lawsuits are looming. There is no way I can pay them because my only income is here in myLot. My husband is working his butt off trying to get our mortgage and other bills caught up just so we can have a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs so the medical bills just sit and must wait until I'm approved for disability and get the money to pay these bills.
But, six months have now passed since my hearing and still no word. Every doctor I've been to has said that there's no way I can work, not even part-time, but still no word about the disability I worked 40 years of my life for.
I'd hate to have to wait until my next birthday to receive good news about my disability!
Anyway, I'm very happy for you! Selling a home these days is very hard to do. I'm glad you've not only sold yours but that you've found your new home. Just try not to get too stressed out during the move, okay? Moving is the second largest stressful thing a person can go through. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the Well wishes, and I will definately be updating everyone as things progress further. I have also been Praying about your situation and know that that must be frustrating, and wish somehow more things could be available for people in your situation as well.

Happy belated birthday to you. Me too have a memorable birthday that happened on year 2006. I was in my confinement month on my 26th birthday. I was just give birth to my baby girl and was glad that I had my first birthday celebration with her. It was just a simple cake cutting at home but very meaningful for me. We took a series of photo with newborn baby on my birthday.

First of all, happy belated birthday, and many congratulations on your new home! :) That is so exciting, and definitely qualifies as an awesome present!
I think the best present I ever received was the one I got last year - even if it did happen by accident. I inadvertantly got pregnant on my birthday last year - we were able to count it back to that date when we found out I was expecting - and now I have my gorgeous son, born 9 months to the day from my birthday! He is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me and quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever done. Even tho we didn't plan for him, it was the best thing in the end.
I did, however, inform my boyfriend that just a card will do it for me this year!! ;)

I am continuing to have Faith even when it seems like sometimes it is a long way to dig for. But since God promised me I would have a New home on my Birthday and this was the day our offer was accepted, I continue to believe no matter what it will all work out for the best.

Well, so far things are still on track even though still a little stressful at times, but I am keeping to the promise from God of a home by my Birthday and just waiting for the loan to be approved, etc. so we can move.

Hi Tina! I think all of my birthdays have been pretty happy. I can't think of any special ones in particular, though. Wait a minute. Now that I think about it, I remember as a child and as a teenager having birthday parties here at the house. We used to have cake, ice cream, cashew nuts, and other goodies. We would also go horseback riding, play games,and listen to music. Of course, I opened gifts, too. I think most of my friends remember coming out here to ride horses because that was something they rarely got to do.
I'm just so glad to know that things are looking up for you now. Happy belated birthday, btw. I'm just glad to know that you got your condo sold and that you have found a new place. I have been praying for you. Kathy.

The best birthday gift i ever had was a present from my partner, Teddy bear with a letter describing on how he bought that stuff. It was the happiest birthday I had because it was our first year together, though he may not be physically present.

That is a Great Birthday present, and very loving and thoughtful as well. I would think that especially if you guys are still together, this should be one of the memories you will probably have for a long time to come as well.

My favorite birthday was when i got my first ever bike boy i was so happy becuase but then i remember i had to learn how to ride it yes it gave me some brusies and ouches but it was worth it now i get to ride with all my freinds and every budy els.It was a true birth day to remeber

I got an iPod as present on my birthday. I've been wishing for it for so long. I was very surprise when my mom handed it to me.
