Deleteing phone numbers

I have a former friend and we have not spoke in over six months. I'm tired of them and do not wish to ever contact them again and don't think they will ever contact me. Our last communications were bad. Now, I deleted their number from my phone. When you're not speaking to someone, and you know you will never speak to this person will never speak to you again, do you feel good deleteing them from your cellphone?

I hardly ever delete numbers. You just never know when you might need it. Plus, if I REALLY do not want to speak to someone again - I keep the number because I want to avoid their call if they ever decide to call me. I have a hard time remembering numbers so I would end up picking up if my mistake - if their number was stored in my phone, their name would pop up and I can just hit "ignore".

That's exactly what I was going to say. I want to know if that person does decide to call me, exactly who it is. I hate it so much, when someone you don't want to talk to calls, and you don't know the number, so you wind up answering anyways. The only time I actually delete a number is if I know it's permanently disconnected, for whatever reason.

I usually do not erase a person's number even if I haven't texted or called them for years hehehe Sometimes, I don't even remember who the person in my phonebook is. But if I already have limited space in my phonebook and I need to save new numbers, then I will delete the numbers of those I don't remember anymore.

I can't really say I like deleting numbers from my phone even after I have a bad conversation with someone. Usually, If there is a number that I know will not contact me and usually no one every calls me, so I just delete that number. The only people that call me is family so as long as I keep those numbers no one every calls me back.

I deleted a large number of contacts from my phonebook as well recently. Partly they have changed their numbers and some have not been communicating with me for years.Even if I am messaging or called them they do not respond to them and that made me fade up a little bit but sometimes when I need the number after it is deleted I would then save it again.

I think yes, better to delete it if you think it will take a long time before you need to speak with them again. and there's possibilities that person will change his/her cellphone number without inform you, so better delete it. I personally don't like my phone list in my cell too long. I delete one who I not really often contact because I can always contact them via facebook or I usually write all phone number in a book and only save necessary one in my cellphone..

There are two reasons why I wouldn't delete them from my cell phone. First of all, you can never be sure whether or not you will need them in the future, so its better to be safe than sorry. Second of all, people think you are more prestigious if you have a lot of contacts on your cell phone, so why get rid of one when you don't have to.

I have done that several times over the years...especially when I've moved away from an area and I know I'll never be seeing that person again. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I usually go through my phone list once every 3 - 4 month & clean it up. If people end up calling me after that, I'll save it back to my phone.

If it's someone that I really don't want to ever speak to again, then I have no problem deleting their number. I go through my phone ever few months deleting peoples numbers that don't talk to me or I don't talk to them. It just takes up room on my phone.

`If I have unresolved issues with someone, I try not to swell on it. When deleting their phone number, I tend to feel nothing. If they want to get in contact with me, they can still do so, and maaybe we can hash things out sometime down the road.

Whether I am going to talk to someone again or not I never delete numbers. Why? lazy i guess. I just never do it. It seems tedious. I guess I should. But I have numbers for everyone under the sun and just never get rid of it. My theory is I guess you never know if that number may come in handy. lol

I do delete numbers, even if I think I will talk to that person and I am just mad. I deleted my fiance's number once so I wouldn't hear his ring tone or know he was calling. We wound up making up though. I think it's fine to delete numbers just don't be hasty like me.

I've never deleted a friend or former friend's number from my cell phone. Maybe it is laziness, maybe it's because I feel like I might want to talk to that person again in the future. But, honestly, the only number I have ever deleted from my cell phone was my grandma's number after she passed away, and when I had to delete that number, it really hurt.
