I would still work so I would never have to worry about losing any money. But it would be part time work for me. They say 50% of people win the lotter go back to work after winning the Jackpot. I would want to keep the cash flow comming so I will always have money. I would then retire when I got older and reap the benifets. I would have everything I need. It would be great to be able to relax when I retire and would not have to worry.

That is also a great plan. If your able to invest in a stable and profitable company or even just take the risk and not lose all your money invested that would also be good. It is another risk your taking after taking a chance in luck to win it. It feels as an on-going gambling with luck process. But since you won such a large amount of money I don't see why not try it. I bet there are lots of lotto winners that think the same way you did and got rich continuiously. Proving that the rich can stay rich or when you have money you can really generate serious amount of extra cash.

I am currently a student and hence am I not the best to answer. My opinion now is No. I would not. I would rather use the money as an investment and better than that. I would not site idle in my home simply partying. Defn the partying would increase dramatically.

I think I would definitely go back to work, but I would do something fun and not care about if it makes me a lot of money. Like if I won the lottery, I would work as a dolphin trainer or something like that where I don't have to make a lot of money to survive.

If I won the lotto I would not say one word to anyone, cash it in and go on withmy life as usual. I may cut back on my work hours becuase with the lotto funds I could eliminate my debts and then work for me. But I would continue to do what I do because I actually enjoy my job when I don't feel like I am serving a financial prison sentencing. LOL

Easy money does not last. I will never give up my work just because i won the lottery jackpot. It is more rewarding to spend money out of your endeavor and sweat than money out of luck. Maybe it could help me to put some business but i would still retain my permanent job for assurance. Happy mylotting !

no i would not as i would make sure the money was still spent properly no matter how much i won. this way i would not have to work. theres plenty of ways to make money even if i didn't have a regular job. it just takes thought and planning. many people who win the lottery splurge and their money is gone within 2 to 3 years. thats a shame.

Yes, I will go back to work but will rest a little. A one week vacation perhaps to spend time with the family, relatives and friends. Should I find my work worthy of pursuing till my retirement, I will but if not I would rather personally attend to new business and investments I may have put up.

I was just talking to my co-worker today about this very topic. I would have to say that I really would not want to go back to work after winning the lottery, but it would really depend on just how large of a jackpot I won. If it was in the millions, then I would probably stay on a part time basis so they could find someone to fill my position. But, since what I am doing is just my job and not my passion, I would leave if I could afford it. Then I would go back to school and find out what my passion is (well, after I went and had some serious fun).

I would still go to work. There really isn't anything to do beside spending the money. But I would rather work and enjoy work now because technically I can walk and not worry about anything. So enjoy my job I CHOOSE to work for is great because your still your own boss. You just take an order and you can decide to do it or not. I take pride in my job, even if I was to get rich I would still want to contribute to society instead of being rites or try to pretend just because I won the lotto. I am still nobody winning the lotto, just some rich guy that got lucky and have his own perspective of etiquette. I rather learn it on the way of true manhood while working as a lotto winner.

Hi tuckersheri! I will not leave my job if ever I win the lottery. Yeah, even if I win the biggest prize. For one, I really love my teaching job. It's a job that I just can't leave. I will probably use the money to put up businesses that can help me survive even after retirement.

Hello. I think that we should never leave our work whatever be the case. Even though winning a jackpot may be a huge bonus to anyone, it is all but passive money and passive money is not what remains with a man. Its the active money, hard work and desperation which is always with man. Also by winning a jackpot and sitting idle for rest of life will make you more and more unsatisfactory person and you will then try to get more and more passive money in good or bad ways and chances are that you would forget the importance of hard work. Happy MyLotting.

I will have to make a comment to you deathknight. Winning the lottery could mean several different reason to different people. I know as for us we would just have an early retirement. Don't you think that someone in their early 50's has put enough work into their life to make it more relaxed for the remaining years?

Hello, thanks for your comments. I would like to say that still the person should not leave his/her work atleast till his body remains healthy. A jackpot at early 50's is definitely beneficial for rest of the life but still the man should take it as an opportunity to live his rest of life with pleasure not with leisure or lethargically. Happy MyLotting.

A million bucks could easily be spent nowadays. At a wink of an eye, it's all gone. So even if I were to win a million bucks, I'd still work. I'd save the money for a rainy day which I'm sure will come sooner or later.

I would definitely go back to work... at least part time. I can't see myself sitting home doing nothing all day.
