Hi MyLotters,
Since my favorite thing in the world is helping rescue animals, I thought it would be a cool idea to start an animal rescue blog. My thoughts are leaning towards doing a featured pet of the day and a featured rescue group/shelter each week. In addition, I'm working on gathering some information about great events going on in various areas which benefit the animals, new/innovative fundraising ideas, and posting some general animal information on everything from behaviors to nutrition. What do you all think? Would any of you read it even on occassion? Does anyone have other suggestions for what they would like to see on a blog like this? I would love to have your feedback, any suggestions, and will be sure to keep you updated and let you know when the blog is fully setup. Thanks for your help and support! :)

Good idea.I have a few idea you can use.I would suggest a fund people could donate to then you could donate the funds to the shelter of the day

I currently own four rescued animals and have had other rescued animals at various points. I would definitely read this blog and I think it is a great idea. You should promote the need to rescue the animals in shelters and have your pets spayed or neutered. Nice idea!

I belong to several sites where you can post a blog such as you are talking about.
You can find them on the internet under Pet Lovers. If I were you I'd look at these and see how they are doing. Good Luck
