I have never used online casinos and I have never played poker, but I have participated in other kinds of online tournaments about money. I have won some money that way, but only small amounts. I don't think that it is good way to make money unless you are really good at those games. You might win some money in the beginning, but after a while the tournaments get very challenging because you start playing against players that are better than you. If you are really good at the games and very experienced it is possible to earn big amounts of money, but if you are an average player I don't think that it is possible to earn much money. You have to pay in order to participate in the tournaments, and if you aren't very good, you might end up losing money instead of earning money.

Yes, I have. There are several legit sites that will give you cash incentives to sign-up with them. You have to look at it like an investment...somthing that MAY give a return over time, there's no doubt you have to have strict money management to last over the long-term. People will get burned after a winning streak by betting too much thinking it won't end. www.mybenefitsplus.com/mikemc

my mother used to. It is NOT a good way to make money. Our family had to go through so much trouble to get her to quit. She used to sit in front of the computer the whole day and spend up to a hundred dollars a day. When the family asked her about it, she would yell for us to leave her alone. Finally, she understood all the debt she is in and we were able to get here to quit but not before she used thousands of dollars gambling online. Don't do it.

I don't do Casinos online. But I do play Poker and Skill Gaming online for money, depending on who you talk to and their current location, it's gambling. I don't trust the casino sites for a number of reasons that are all pretty obvious, main two being that the house has the edge, and that you have no control on the outcome. I don't like putting my money on things I can not control a major portion of the outcome. As for Poker, I'm semi-pro and I make solid money(three figures profit monthly) doing so. It's not a hard game to learn and become profitable at. But like anything online you really need to learn what's going, why the winners win, and losers lose. There is so much math involved that if you don't know that, then you are doomed to lose. Anyone can get lucky for a day, but it's the skill that makes you a winner over the long haul. I've also made several hundred off of Skill Gaming over the years, but Skill Gaming sites are designed to curb your profit with their rankings system, win so much and eventually you will be playing against fellow masters of the game and it will be incredibly hard to win large amounts. As with all forms of money risking, Proper Bankroll management is the backbone of being able to do so successfully. It's easy to learn, but if you can't follow it no matter what, you will be really lowering your chance of success. Overall if you can take the time to learn the game, learn the strategies, take advantage of communicating with fellow players for insight and review then you can prosper.

First make sure the site is legitimate and not a scam. You should be able to find this out by googling. Second remember the odds always favor the house and you should lose more than you will win. Last, make sure it is legal in your country. It is illegal in the USA, although it has been posible to play poker online here. That is because poker players have argued that poker is a game of skill and not a game of luck. However, the government has banned all online casinos here and in some cases they have frozen people's poker winnings accounts sio they can't collect money. There is an on-going effort in our Congress to legalize on-line poker.

Gambling is not reliable. There is a lot at stake.
