there are many people who want to continue their study but because of lack of money they cant continue, but there is still a chance that they can do it in a sense of being a working student..yes its hard but its a matter of sacrifice,, you have you ever experience this scenario?

Yes, I've been a working student. And indeed, it was a lot of sacrifice. But those sacrifices are worth the time and effort. I graduated with honors and got a great job right away. I just can see the proud looks of my parents when they attended my graduation. To all those who've been working students, I am so proud of you.!

I am a college student and I work two jobs. Life is crazy and very hard at times but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. I make minimum wage at one job and a dollar over at the other, but that one is a seasonal job that ends in two weeks. I am looking forward to the extra time to study, but finances will be hard at times. 12 hours is a full time student at my school, I am taking 19. I also help teach a dancing class that I dont get paid for on monday and friday evenings. Its crazy and stressfull at times, but things like my dancing class and knowing that this is my last year help me get through it.

i have never been a working student but in my experience, all the working students i knew did not graduate on time. but that was no problem for them. they had no problem getting work after they graduated. and a few more continued going to school at night even when they were working.

Actually, my situation was the other way round, but quite similar. I could not afford the time to study because I was working. So, when there was a course offered for working people, I went for the interview and was selected. The class was held on every Thursdays. As my working hours were on shifts basis, I took my rest day on every Thursdays and worked on Sundays.

When I was a nursing student I had a job in a nursing home. Most of all I chose to work because I needed the extra money, but the job was also useful for me in other ways and I learned things that I was able to use in my studies. In my job I was allowed to do things that I couldn't do as a nursing student and I was a lot more independant in my job. I am happy that I chose to become a working student, if I hadn't had a job, it would have been very different for my ex and me to pay our rent and all the bills.

After an abusive marriage I returned to school to finish my degree. I went to school, had two young children I was raising by myself and worked part time. I made it.. it was difficult but I made it. I was also very active in church activies as I was on the music team and worked with the youth.

hi i was working student all my college days . my parents were poor ,iam third daughter i like studying so much i cannot stay just helping in chores. my cousin helped us get o job at kfc and i worked there on a 3to 11 shift and went to college in the next town. we lived in a boarding house ,all of us employees who work in the pm and study in the am. we washed our clothes after work before sleeping. we wake up early and off to school we go after a quick breakfast. were home at 1 , take lunch rest for two hours and report to work at three.if there are no customers ,we are allowed to study w/in our posts ( our store manager was so kind ,she would allow us). during days off ,i went to school, in the afternoon i would go to the town where my family to tell i'm doing ,they need not worry. it was that for 4 yrs . i graduated and applied for a managerial position and they took me in.from then on ,life went better and better . god really helps those who really help themselves.
