Still in love with Jon and Kate plus 8....?

I personally still love Jon and Kate plus 8. I have watched this show for years. It is sad that Jon and Kate have seperated, but it seems like they are doing what is best for their children. They seem to still be able to work together, and look out for their children, even though they are not together. I think that Kate seems less up tight, and not as argumentive with jon. Jon seems like he is trying to find himself outside of the show. I think that a lot of the media exaggerate things that are going on between the couple. At first I was skeptical about watching the show after their seperation. But the new shows have showed that this family will be able to make it through all of this.
Do you still enjoy watching Jon and Kate plus 8? What are your thoughts on their situation?

I'm still a fan of the show. I think that Kate is a much different person than she was before the split. Actually, I sometimes thought that she asked way too much of Jon and was too hard on him. If our family was like that my husband would have been out of here a long time ago. As for Jon, I think that he is just tired of the limelight. He wants to have the opportunity to be himself. The kids are the main reason that I've watched the show all along though, and despite the fact that their parents are now separated, the kids are still kids and they are still adorable.

I agree, tlb. I've always liked the show and still do. I was very sad to hear that they are not going to try to work it out. but they have shown the maturity so they can focus solely on the kids and not getting back at each other. if only other break ups were as rational. Of course, we don't know all of the story but I don't think Jon really knows what he wants, except to continue to love his kids. I hope when other couples see their example, they will see that it is possible to have a reasonably peaceful divorce.

I see lots of news about them on TV and on the internet too. Even youtube have lots of their episodes so I managed to catch some of the snippets from there. I must say I didn't know who Jon and Kate were at the beginning but because of media frenzy, I've come to learn about them and their cute children. It's sad what's happening to them at the moment; but life is like that. Sad but true. I think I can only catch stuff on the internet on their progress.

Hey tlb! I watched the show a few times before they separated
and I watched it once since. I didn't like Kate before, but
now I think she has calmed down and he has lost his mind!
But, as far as the kids are concerned, they, I hope will always
continue to be good parents together! I don't watch the show
now because I really wasn't watching it much before. I am
worried about the children very much because of all the
publicity that Jon is getting, and I don't believe that Kate
is an angel either! She was a beotch to him and don't think
she is perfect either! Just hope they can keep it together
for the sake of those 8 beautiful children because they
deserve only the best!

I agree she was really ignorant to him. Hopefully all the pubilcity doesn't affect their children. I couldn't imagine having 8 kids let alone having people following you around with cameras with every move you make, it has to be stressful. Hopefully it all works out well for the children. Thanks for the response.

I have never watched this show. I think having cameras in front of their children all these years can not be good for them in the long run. I can't believe any family would in good conscious think this is ok. I think Kate is just money hungry and really doesn't care how or what she does to get it. I think this is part of the reason that Jon and Kate are no longer together. The kids need to be living a real life not in front of the cameras especially now that their parents are getting divorced.
