Do you rate discussions and responses?

There's a +, and -, and a ! box on the lower right hand corner of every post and response. You are supposed to rate it according to how it contributes to discussion, not whether you agree. Do you rate? I always try to rate people that respond to my discussions, usually with a +

Hi K46620, I always rate my responder or commenter of my responder. Not all but most of it. I would not rated the response/comment with one line. Most (if not all) my rate so far are + rated. I rather give a + rated or not giving at all. By giving a rating to all the comments and responses, it is to shown our appreciation for that. I also rate the discussion that I respond.

Well, i do rate the comments i receive as well as those comments from other discussions, if i like it. I hardly give negative rating, but so far none. Take care Dinu :) Ps : I see you have given a +rating for the first buddy, i would like to say that one of the rules of mylot is "You should never mention your rating". Take care buddy.

When it comes to discussions that I have started, as I go thru and respond back and choose a Best Response, I am rating everyone at the same time. Also any discussion that I respond back too such as this one I also remember to Rate. This way I can keep track of which discussions I have responded back too, and where I last left off with my own discussions as well.

I rate any message I respond to. I rate most things a + unless the responder is being really obnoxious. I have heard in some responses that other people have made to similar questions that you are not supposed to use the -. I don't know if that is true, but I have occasionally used that.

I have only started 2 discussions, within those I rated every responder. I rated them all with a +, because they all contributed to what the discussion was about. When I respond to discussions I always read what everyone has written first. If something really strikes me as well written and on subject than I rate it. Generally I don't though.

I do this only when i find a respond worth of a rating ie it contains some real and good answer to the question that was asked in the discussion. There is no point in rating a response negative(even for bad English as there are people from all over the world responding here).I remember i only once rated a response negative because i found it very abusive. But i always try to mark a best response in my discussions.

I only rate those I respond to. I do give positive ratings for the most part. I don't give negatives very much at all. If the response is of a low quality, I just won't rate it. I have given negatives, when users have posted referral links in their responses. There haven't been to many of those though, so that is good, as I certainly don't like giving negative ratings. We are all trying to have good ratings here, as we all know by now, that our ratings do affect our earnings. I have received negatives, pleny of them but whether they rate me negative or not, I will not rate them negative. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
