Hi! Next morning I'm going to a tour with my boyfriend for the first time. We are going to the bus tour to Europe. I've heard that people change while traveling and don't act as usually in foreign countries, when nobody see them. For our relationship this would me rather extreme conditions. Dear myLotters, do You have some experience to share or advice to give? I'd like to have some good experience with that time together, but I'm quite hot-tempered person and I'm afraid I'll just be too demanding towards my boyfriend. Thanks in advance!

About a month ago my husband and I went on vacation in Lithuania and Latvia. It was a new experience for us, we had travelled around in our own country, but we had never visited other countries together. We went by train from Denmark to Germany and by bus from Germany to Lithuania. It took about 30 hours to get to Lithuania, and it was hard to spend so many hours on a bus. We both got tired and irritable after a while, and we had some arguments, but I think that happen to many people when you spend so much time together. Most of the time we had a really good time together and we really enjoyed exploring new countries together.

When I dated my ex and we went out of town to Washington DC he did act a little different and said the things that he once loved about me got to be annoying. Which made me feel wonderful. I think traveling together is a good thing for a relationship because you see each other in a different light and atmosphere that you normally wouldn't see them in.
