The last couple of times that I've logged into my geocities site, I've had to read through messages from them on how at the end of October they will no longer be hosting sites. I'm finding that sad. I've has a site there for YEARS. Even when I had my own domain, I kept it and set it up to redirect to my own page. It's file manager is SO easy to work. I tried a few different ones when I got interested in web design and for me personally Geocities was the best. I've hardly done a thing to it lately but I've liked knowing it was there. I want to find another free webhost to use until I get another computer up and running and get things together again. It's been a LONG time since I've looked. I'm sure that most of the ones I knew are gone now and there's probably a gazillon in their place. Due to a misunderstanding in another site, let me make it clear that I'm not looking for a blog site but a web page hosting site that had an editor program. What sites are good these days?

That is too bad. I have not had my own website for longtime but if I do get some time I want to put one back, not a blog which I have several, but the website. I think this time I will get my own domain name but I would like to find a free hosting site to host it for me. Good luck on your search.
