How Old Are You ..

Hi prashanthalva, I imagine it must have been around seven or eight years ago when I realised I could research things on the net and at first just used it to investigate options of moving to another country. Although I'd travelled to Greece many times before it had not been to the mainland and I found the place I live now on line and vistited as it seemed to meet all my requirements and had fingers crossed that I would like it enough to live here. So for me that was the most useful thing ever as I could research enough to make the move.

12 years ago I used the internet for the first time. It was in 1997 and I was 21 at that time. I didn't have internet access at home, but I got the chance to use the internet while I was at school. One of our teachers taught us some of the most basic things about internet and how to use it, and then we tried to search for information etc. I also read the news online. I thought it was fun to surf the internet, and in the beginning I only used the internet to search for information, I didn't know how to use emails, chat rooms etc. Later on I started using the internet at home, but I had to share the computer and the internet connection with my father and my brother, so I couldn't use it as much as I wanted to. In 2002 I got my own internet connection and since then I have been very active and I spend a lot of time online.

I am using the internet more than 10 years and ever then I love being on the net, I surf a lot and so I learn a lot also. I am happy to be having internet, in the office it is free so I do most of my works in the office itself.

I think i started using the internet around the age of 12, and im 18 now so about 6 years! Which really doesnt seem that long when i look at it that way. It feels like a lot longer. Guess its something i use every day though
