In our country, I know of three giant networks, namely: SMART, GLOBE and SUN. There's also talk n text, and RED which, as far as I know are, subcompanies of SMART, and TOUCH MOBILE whic is a sub company of GLOBE. Each network has its own edge and also its own defects.

Yes you are right theresa, each one of the have their own advantages and disadvantages, especially when it comes to service and rates. You know, I have one friend-officemate who has 3 phones, one phone for one sim-network. I can't understand why she has to have 3 phones-sim-network all at the same time, naaaaaa. For once in my life, I also had 3 sims, but only for loading business. Now, I am stick to one.

I am a reliance user. Almost all of them are same. So far there is no problem with reliance, so I am still with them.

I feel the best mobile network in my place is AIRTEL , I feel its offers are excellent compared to others. BSNL has a very poor network in our area. Many subscribers are changing to Airtel because of their offers.

I live in Wisconsin, and there are several cell phone providers to choose from. But where we live, reception isnt too great with many of the providers, so we choose Alltel because we get really good reception, the prices arent TOO bad, and most people we know have it, and alltel gives free mobile-to-mobile with all people with alltel service, so it is definitely nice. BUT, as of lately, we have been getting screwed over by people working for them, people that we know, because our bill was absolutely ridiculous and needed to be changed/fixed, and the girl hasnt done it, and it has been like 3 weeks, and she is avoiding my calls! Grrr. My husband and I are wondering if we should just cancel the plan (which costs money) and go to a different provider (may not have such good reception) but betters phone and service?

I think that Verizon is the best mobile network in our area. I think AT&T is good also. I think the price for each of them is about the same too and the plans also. They have good calling areas too.

i am a BSNL user and am having no problem. the services are satisfactory. they may be slow in customer care but they are also improving. being a government enterprise means it takes more time to implement the improvement but in the long run they turn out to be better than other service providers.

I think the government organisations like BSNL doesn't have care about their customers..tats why they have so poor customer service and tats why they have low costs whereas the private networks are far more better then BSNL because they have to do their business tats why they are sincere enough....As u told about vodafone has good service because its new to India and it doesn't have customers as others private networks have and for that they don't have so much of congestion of network like others. U jst wait after some years Vodafone will also convert like them.

in my country (Singapore) there is Singtel, Starhub, M1... probably the best is Singtel -- because where ever you go, there is signal M1 -- no idea, i never use it before Starhub -- some parts of my country the signal is poor while some parts its strong, so not quite stable i would say

I am with verizon and before that, I was with t-mobile. I seemed to have got a lot of dropped calls with t-mobile, and I don't with verizon. Sure verizon is much higher, but they have nicer phones that t-mobile. I just bought a phone 2 weeks ago, and I really like it. It is an LG enVTouch, with a touch 3" touch screen. It has a qwerty keyborad on the inside and a nontouch 3" screen. It is the nicest phone I have ever had. Have a gread day, and happy mylotting.
