This is a sample of some of the zuchinni I tend to forget about after a week or so of the sitting on the plant. These are the ones I give to my wifes restaraunt or I use for deeo frying. I tend to not see a lot of my veggies due to their leaf size etc covering the food. Ever fiond extra large items in your garden along these lines? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

My friend Cordula used to make stuffed zucchini with big ones like that.

Hello Grandpa Bob That sure is a huge one in the picture! Sure you will get many uses from it . I love zuchinni ;) I like it breaded and then fried up.Then I dip it in some ranch sauce. Also, good in a pasta! My parents love to make bread from it. I have tried to bake some zuchinni bread, but nothing is as good as theirs LOL. Happy posting!

Whoa! That one's a decent size alright! I love zucchini, but I don't know if I could manage to finish off one as big as this!

Wow, that is amazing. Is it the largest zuchini you've ever grown?

Usually if my veggies get really big, I'll see them as I carefully pull leaves aside and look for any that need picking. However, I've just recently found a whole slew of plum tomatoes nestled in the grass clippings I use to mulch with hiding behind/under a thick cover of leaves. My husband and I were searching for ripe tomatoes when he moved some leaves aside and I spotted a small red patch. Upon closer inspection, I found them and could barely get to them being they were deep within the plant on the ground. 10 of them, all beautifully red and blemish-free.

I have not done that in a long time. I do remember one particular cucumber, that I fondly nicknamed the "Yellow Submarine" It was around so long it turned yellow and it was absolutely huge !! !!

Yeah, that's a little on the premium size... but when I was married and living in BC, I'd find one, two-three times that size every year. Wouldn't eat it though.

HI Grandpa Bob: Wow! That is a big one huh? (EG)!! I'm sure it will still be ok, for fried zucchini, or to use in a cake or bread OH God my mouth is watering just thinking of it all; its been ages since I had any of that; You really do have quite a green thumb there!!!
