So, ladies... when it comes to hair removal, do you prefer shaving waxing, nair, laser hair removal, or epilation? Do you use different methods for different areas?

Most of the time I shave. I have tried the creams and they really didn't work that well for me, stinky and still left some hair. When I lived in the states I would wax in the summer and shave during the winter. Waxing really does hurt regardless of what has been said, but it sure lasts a long time. I haven't found a place where I am living now that I would trust for the waxing process so I'm back to shaving.

I had similar experiences with the creams- definitely also prefer shaving or waxing.

Oh yes, creams really had a bad performance in hair removals, I experienced that also. I prefer waxing because it can take up to the roots and takes a long time to grow. It has an even removal of hair actually.

But wouldn't it be nice if those creams really worked! Just spread some lotion on, wait a few minutes and no hair! The idea is great it just doesn't work so well.

I regularly used waxing than shaving my hair in my legs. Waxing is nice because it can removed the roots while saving is only on the surface which grow thick and curly and very ugly to look at. Waxing has a more even grow and it took more than a month before the hair grow again.

Yeah it is nice to not have to worry about it for a while if you wax.

I would shave first then wax. if I don't wax, I will shave every week. sometimes I'm too lazy to get out and buy more wax. I would like laser hair but I don't think I can afford it

Once a week isn't too bad... I need to shave more often than that usually. Yeah laser removal is very expensive. I would probably do it if it weren't.

Let's see, I shave under my arms and I tweeze my eyebrows. I don't do anything with my legs b/c the hair on them is very fine and can hardly be seen. I did shave them a few times when I was young but my Mom got me to stop. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I wish I didn't need to shave my legs! It is light, but still very noticeable.

i just waxxed my legs. i buy mine from the store and do it myself. i just do it front of the tv set so that i have watch something interesting while i do it and it goes by faster. you just spread a little bit of organic wax on your area, press a cloth strip on it in the direction for hair growth, and pull in the opposite direction quickly. it doesnt hurt. and it works better if the hair is very long. i only wax my legs. i prefer to shave under my arms because it is a very small area and takes only five minutes to do both. and i prefer the cream for the bikini area because that area is very sensitive for me. my facial hair is very fine like peach fuzz, but sometimes, if i feel like it, i just bleach it with facial bleach. so i like to do combination, for different areas. but i only wax my legs if i grow it out very long. if my leg hairs are short and i need to get rid of it, then i just shave.

I also use different methods for different areas, or sometimes switch what I do. Well watching tv is one way to entertain yourself while you do it hah! I have tried store waxing kits to but it was one that didn't have to be heated up and it was already on a little strip. Sort of strange but it seemed to work fairly well.

I shave under my arms, tweeze the wild hairs on my chin and let my legs go natural. After a certain age hair stops growing in some places and starts growing in other places.

I don't think it's that intimate... at least here we wouldn't consider that to be an intimate question.

I like shaving. No matter how much the wax product commercials say they don't hurt, they always hurt. Shaving wouldn't hurt if I'm careful not to cut myself. When I get older, I might try laser hair removal so I don't have to keep shaving

Hi. anna728. I used to use a shaver/ razor blade to shave my hair off. But now, I use a cream lotion that removes my hair off of my skin. I have to let it sit and wipe it off when it is time too. I don't like to shave anymore because it leaves too many knicks and cuts on my skin. This is whenever, not all of the time.

Shaving for me, i dont really like waxing its too painful and i think it can get a little messy sometimes. I used to use hair removing creams but they can be a little bit harsh on my skin and irritate it. Whe it comes to facial hair though i do use little waxing strips.

Naturally I don't have many hairs over my body but still i shave them using the razor,I even don't put any cram on during the procedure and after that.I shave on dry skin and my skin doesn't even get red,it's not very sensitive,I guess.
