well, in India we put mehendi on almost all functions..be it, karvachauth ( fasting for the wellbeing of our husbands) or diwali or rakhi..girls usually love it..esp the night before marriage the girl is applied mehendi on both arms put to the elbow and both feet till mid calf level..beautiful designs are put..
thsi certainly different from wat tatoo mehendi is...
pls share ur views on it...

yes we put mehndi on our hands and happily wait for the colour to come. since our festival is on its way to come so we are planing of putting mehndi. But it feels sleepy to put and keep it for hours without doing anything else other than drying it .but as one says the fruit of hard work is sweet and thus the other daybeautiful patterns and designs are seen by many.

Hello dr, mehedi is part of our culture our life, am i right? my wife, my daughter in laws apply during all functions, all celebrations..
i too used as dye to color my hair long back..
