Do You Know Who Your Real Friends Are?

I once had a friend and we did everything together from teenagers to adult.
We were like best friend sisters, told each other everything, well atleast I told her everything until one day...I told her something very personal and she went back to the person and repeated everything I said. When I confronted her about it, she tried to deny it,but everything I shared with her, the other person repeated it. So I made my conclusion to not share intimate secrets with her because I don't trust her anymore. It really hurt me for her to do that. I haven't spoken to her in years and the one time I did visit with her, I wasn't comfortable, probably because I hadn't leave go of the hurt. Because of her, I don't talk about the dates anymore.

VERY UNDERSTANDABLE!!
she was so bad and dishonest to do something like that to a good friend!
well i don't give friends like that a second chance.
I feel for you as it is a terrible feeling.
Be strong and try to move on BUT remember check your close friends very very well
before you tell them some thing so personal.

uh that is tragic...i am so sorry to hear it.
i have many best friends, but one thing i know that they are only human. they can do mistakes so i used to not share everything. i used to keep it by my self.

I think there are alot of people that put trust in a friend and they tell that friend everything and then you get to hear that the friend you have put all the trust in is the one who you should not have trusted at all.I had a friend that i used to tell all to only to find out that they were telling everyone else aswell as stabbing me in the back.Then i had another friend just like them aswell as they used to tell me what they wanted me to hear then i was told different from another person.I do not trust any friends now with anything.
