When you die do you want to be buried or creamated?i

I want to be buried when I die. I don't want to be creamated. I really can't stand the thought of my body being burnt into ashes. I have heard of people making creamated ashes or remains into jewelry. To me that is just creepy and weird. I don't want to be hanging around someones neck when I die. To me being creamated seems to be cruel even after dying. I know it is not but it just reminds me of torture for some reason. I know it is also cheaper to be creamated. I want to be burrows or be in a crypt above ground.

I want to be buried also. I will never never allow anybody to cremate my body. It seems like I am already in hell while still on earth!
It doesn't matter where they will put my body after I die, as long as it is in full form and not be burnt then it is okay for me. I have heard so many stories of relatives whose deceased family have been cremated. They said that they had bad dreams about the screaming and crying of that deceased relative while their bodies cremated, it seems they are protesting with the burning.

My husband and I both have discussed this. We both have decided that we want to be cremated. It will be alot cheaper and easier on us to do. We can also save the remains in an urn and spread them where we wanted them spread also. We thought about a crypt also but they are very expensive.

I'm not going to know a lot about it really am I? I'd be up for having my body shoved in a bio-degradeable bin liner and dumped on the local tip but, failing that, it would be cremation. I'd want my ashes scattered somewhere so that they'd just be blown to the wind and I'd be free forever. I hate the thought of being buried or shut into a casket. I don't think there's anything creepy or weird about wanting someone you love to be preserved for ever in a piece of jewellery. I think it would be a wonderful heirloom

i want myself to be buried for sure as this is my families customs and i dont want to change it and creamate myself. it gives a kind of creepy feelings to others who hear it at first time and i dont want to stay or even my soul to stay here to remind others of me.

I personally want to be cremated
afterwards I want my ashes scattered in the wind
my soul will no longer be in my body so I am not really bothered by the thought of my body burning
I wouldnt want to be buried because it takes up too much space
also cremation will be cheaper on my family

It all depends on different cultures followed by people in different socities. In my opinion its better to be burried then to be creamated.

I am going to just let my children decide. I do not believe my soul will stay with my body once I die so whatever they choose is fine.

Hi there!
I welcome the thought of being creamated when I will die abroad as I don't want to burden my family in spending a lot just to bring my remains back home. However, I will die in our home country I would prefer being buried below the ground or in a crypt so my family can come and visit me occasionally. Good day!

I prefer to be cremated but my ashes should be buried also. I just cant stand the feeling of beeing eaten by earthworms. anyway, we will all be turn into ashes.

If it were up to , I would want to be cremated. I would rather be burned than buried six feet underground and be all gross and decaying. Thinking about it gives me the shivers. And getting burned reminds of like in the movies where there's a great fire when great characters die...

I have always thought I want to be put into a mansoleum not buried or burned. Now as I've gotten older I'm leaning towards cremation. Its easier on the family financially and people don't have to waste time visiting a cementery.

When I die I would like to be cremated because I hate the thought that my body would disintegrate because bugs would eat it. I'd rather let flames eat my body. I don't want to be like a piece of rotten meat. I want to disintegrate as quickly as possible, and cremation is the fastest way.

I think I want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered on Eastern Canada. It's really beautiful there and I feel at home there. Which is kind of odd since I'm not from there.

I don't wanna be buried. The thought of someone digging my rotten corpse up gives me creeps. LOL. I want to be cremated - at least bacteria won't eat me and i won't turn yucky. After being cremated have my ash kept into a jar or something then bury it LOL.
