Yummmm I too enjoy homemade hot rolls. When my son was very young and we would go around the table telling what we were thankful for he always said he was thankful for the rolls. hahaha! That was ALL he ever ate at Thanksgiving, just rolls, for many years!

I have never tried smoked Turkey. I usually have a Hen because Turkey makes my heart race plus it tends to be so dry no matter how you cook it!

try smeering your turkey with mayo really keeps turkey moist and doese not change the flavor.

I did have it a few years ago and I must admit it is much better than the oven Turkey! Do you fry your own or get a business to do it for you? Several restuarants here will do it for you here for a fee. I think you pay so much a pound.

Which part of the Turkey and how do you like yours prepared? I have had TurDuckin, but I must say I did not enjoy it! Apparently I don't like Duck. I have had a fried Turkey which to me was better than the traditional in the oven for hours.

Ahhh Yes sweet potatoes are the best. How do you prepare your Turkey? White or dark meat? Mine is dark meat only but I still prefer the Hen!

A I read the post concerning favorit Thanksgiving dishes my mouth is watering. For a moist roasted turkey spread mayo with your seasoning all over the turkey. The mayo does not leave any taste. My favorit part of Thanksgiving dinner is the left overs. to me they always gain more flavor seting over night.

I like pumpkin pie as long as it does not have a LOT of spice in it, but I have found I like sweet potatoe pie better. Even though most people tell me they are almost the same.

Cranberry Sauce - Thanksgiving cranberry sauce
Homemade might be better than what I am usually served (canned) I don't like the canned and have never tried the homemade, is it tart?
