I remember my mother saying when you start wearing makeup your complextion will be ruined. Now I cant go out without it on. Even my boyfriend likes it better when i wear makeup. What about you?

95% all natural, makeup is a waste of money and time

it is a huge waste of money. whoever thought that lipstick would be nine or ten dollars a tube. When i was younger and lived with my parents i would spend 20 big ones on this one specific eye shadow.. it lasted a long time but was ridiculously priced

I have to agree to your response.I got hypo-allergenic reactions when I was required to use make-up in the workplace. I like my skin to be free from smuddles.

I don't wear make up at all. I think people who start wearing make up fall into a trap. When I do wear make up for a special occasion I don't feel like myself. I have an excellent complexion and don't want to ruin it. I have been told by many people I don't need make up.

you probably dont. i think it takes alot of self confidence to not wear makeup. i think that when you dont it shows who you are inside

i usually dont put on make up, only sunscreen to protect my skin. however, i will put on make up when i have the mood, but mostly i will go natural...maybe just lipstick. i love to rub my eyes too much and that would be a problem if i have mascara on.

I don't necessarily think it ruins your complexion (if you use decent products) but I think you become used to looking a certain way when you wear it and you start to believe that you look better with it on. And the truth is, a lot of men like the way you look with it on.

There's actually SPF in foundation, so it's good for your skin. I think makeup does nothing to the skin as long you cleanse well. Or try Mineral Makeup. :D

My mother always told me awful things would happen to my face if I used make up, but I have since come to believe she just didn't want me to wear it. I started wearing makeup when I was 13 and have never stopped. I always made sure I used good makeup that was healthy for my skin, and I even have worn foundation to bed. It does not seem to have ruined my face. People often think I am 10 years younger than I am, and it has kept my complexion nice. I feel it's a personal decision though. My two daughters don't wear makeup and both have beautiful skin. My husband doesn't insist on me wearing makeup. In fact he has often said he prefers me without it when are at home. So I would suppose that I have proof that makeup does not ruin your complexion. :)

I dont think make up ruins your complexion, I think thats something mothers say to try and dissuade their daughters from using it. I wear make up most days, I don't usually like to go out without it on, but sometimes I do if I can't be bothered. I wear foundation (with an SPF to protect my skin) and eye makeup, but never wear lipstick, just don't find it comfortable :)

I don't wear makeup. I did for my wedding, but other than that, I just don't feel the need to. (Or maybe I'm just lazy?)

I didn't start wearing make-up until I was 37. I decided I needed a more polished, professional look. I usually only wear it for work and a couple of other occassions.

Ok, well I prefer the natural look... But sometimes you wanna feel pretty... My Love thinks I am better off without makeup... The only thing I wear is usually eyeliner... But sometimes when I'm not being lazy I will use mascara... But I think natural is always better even though I wear makeup sometimes! Lady, you're beautiful without makeup!

If you look at older couples I always notice that the womans skin on her face always has more wrinkles then the mans and they always work harder trying to avoid them wrinkles I wonder why that is?

I started to wear makeup when I was about 19 years old to about 24. But now at 30, I hardly wear makeup anymore, except eyeliner and eyshadow, and that's about it.

i like to wear makeup sometimes, just eyeliner and shadow because i have nice skin. but i hate when i need to itch my eye and it rubs the makeup all over. my boyfriend likes me better without makeup.

I dont really wear alot of make up, i do prefer just to wear it if i am going out maybe for dinner or drinks with friends or a wedding or whatever, I see so many people who where heaps and heaps of make up and it looks bloody ugly to be honest! Whats the point in wearing make up to go to the supermarket or to go for a walk or to run a few erands? i honestly dont see the point in it but thats just me!
