Do u think genetic predisposition to crimes is a valid ground to exonerate?

Of recent, gentic profiling has caught fancy of advocates. They have used genetic profiles of criminals to show that their client committed the crime because he couldnt help it, his genetic make up was like that, and he did not do it out of his own will. Do u think that is a valid ground to exonerate a criminal?

It sounds like a crazy idea. That could be used as a defense for anyone, so nobody would be found guilty of anything ever! It could also be used in reverse, so that people couldn't get jobs if their genetic profile wasn't right, even if they had experience and qualifications.

Yeah. That is precisely the thing. Advocates are trying to use that as an excuse for bad behavior. :(

This is a very advanced way to present and evidence if any crime is committed and will determine if the accused is guilty or not. But I think this is not always a reliable way because this is not an absolute and exact science yet and many other factors are present in the commission of the crime and a genetic make up of a person cannot sufficiently prove that.
