Hi dear myLotter friends,
I joined here 3 days ago and had enjoyed alot here in myLot with your encouragement and support. I get more number of friends here.Thanks.
But, I'm going to miss all your avatars and photos in myLot.
Yes, I'm going to turn off images in my browser, because i have the limited data usage account and find that last 3 days i got more data usage here in myLot. So, i asked my friend about it, he told me to turn off images.
Just want to know,
Are you using unlimited plan or limited plan for your internet connection??
Did any one turn off images for myLot?
Sorry friends, if you upload any picture in any of my discussions from now it will not be use for me..
If you upload any tell me itself, then i will see that image by temporarily turn on images in my browser..

Hi,
I am using the unlimited plan.
It is a high speed broadband by TM (Telekom Malaysia)
It cost me RM88.00 per month.
It is all right with me if you turn off the images,
as long as you are still active at myLot and do
keep in touch with our discussion...lol.
I never knew this 'turn off' feature can be done.

Yes, i am fast but not so faster. I reached my 100th post in 2 days but today only i have 14 responded. I mostly hit no response tab so that i may get more friends.
Also, like i already told in your i won't be here for some days.

You need not to turn off the images as you are using the unlimited plans ..lol..

That's ok. ever since i got here, i rarely upload pictures in my response or comments. except one that i accidentally uploaded in the responses instead of discussion. i think am using unlimited plan that makes me pay fifty dollars a month. sucks but it's good internet connection@LetranKnight25 (33121)

two megabytes per second i think....2mb. but it's fixed. good thing i chose this because mylot can be so slow that i use a lower plan imight end up getting banging the computer again1 person likes this

2 megabytes per second looks a lot of speed.
In our country speed was calculated as bits per second. I have 1 to 2 mbps line according to the data traffic. I got average of 1.7mbps speed.
So, you have 16mbps line according to me...

Oh it is too much when i convert it to my currency..
approximately 5 times more than my internet bills...

Hi ElicBxn,
Yes, cable internet is lot more faster than the wireless internet and it don't have any coverage problems as in the wireless internet. Also, cost for the cable internet is low compared to the wireless internet.
In my place, the unlimited plans have the speeds less than the limited data plans.
May i know your speed and plan?

i understand your problem. earlier i also had limited plan and was always checking my limit. by the way what connection are you using? there are may plans which offer unlimited night usage which you can try. you can also try BSNL data card, initial investment is a bit steep (Rs. 2500 - 3000) but has unlimited plan for Rs. 195 or Rs. 250 (i am not sure) but it is 114 kbps- not bad considering the monthly bill. do search the sites of service providers and you definitely wind one suitable for you. meanwhile you may as well turn off images, no fun paying extra.

if i am not mistaken plan 500C has unlimited up/download between 2 am and 8 am. it might not be feasible to surf at these hours but at times it can be useful. data cards are dependent on mobile network. so when your area gets mobile network, data cards won't be far away.

Hi sunny,
I didn't hear about the BSNL data cards before. But, i guess it won't be available in my place. My place is a village. Actually, the broadband facility was available only just before 2 months here in my village. I am using 500C plan having 1.5GB download+upload limit.

well, I never met your situation before, but I saw someone esle's imagine was uploaded, and I acturely did not have any idea about why that happened. Maybe someday when that happens to me, I could get more imformation about that.

I do not know what to call it, limited or unlimited? Technically, it is a limited plan but with a 20 GB limit. I think that this is more than enough, so I decide to keep the images on. If you are on a limited plan, it would be wise to turn of the images.

Wow!! 20 GB is cool..
I have unlimited access for 6 hours daily. I had downloaded more than 30 GB every month. So, if i get unlimited access for whole day.. Hmmm... Imagine yourselves..lol...
Yes, mostly i sleep after starting downloading during my free access timings because it is morning 2 am to 8 am...
So, no myLotting at that time the mostly.. If i use myLot at that time i turn on images... You still not uploaded your avatar????

I don't upload images very often at all so you won't be missing many of mine. I can quite understand your problem too.
I have unlimited access to interent from hom and from work too so no problems about this at all.

Yes, i am going to miss the yellow face of your avatar.. I won't see your yellow faces again, may be during my unlimited access time i see your face daily. I also have unlimited access time from 2am to 8am. But, my parents won't allow to browse at that time. May be after 6am i can browse. So, i have unlimited access for 2 hours daily. ..rasp..

I use the internet connection in my office and we have an unlimited plan so I can use the internet the whole day and have no tensions of data usage. I have not even checked how long i use the net everyday because my internet connection is on the whole day. Will surely inform you if i upload any pics here.

So, you are from India, just now i realised it..
I am using the 500C plan now.. It has the speed upto 2Mbps speed..
I had seen the sheet having all the plan details before i got the connection. I found that the unlimited plans have lesser speeds compared to the limited connections..

Yes, for the official use we should not be care about the data usage. So, i guess all offices have the unlimited internet connection only. Sure, i will see your image if you inform me..
What is your speed and cost of your connection?
