Some people just don't have patience to train other new workers. As they are new, they might need more time and effort to get them on the right track. From what I saw at work, some experienced workers just don't have patience to train the new comers, and they got easily agitated. I had been new before, and I knew the feeling. Sometimes, mistakes aren't avoidable, because you might neglect something. So, if you are experienced trainer, just be patience with others. Since you had been new before too, and someone had been patiently to train you.

I wouldn't mind having to train someone else. In fact I think I would be quite proud. The fact that I would be able or good enough to pass my skills on to another person is something to proud of. I think we all need to be a little more patient sometimes anyway, or life just passes us bay a little too fast.

It is great to hear you say that. Many people have a selfish reason not to train others with good intention.

I agree with you. Yes from my experience always boss expect more from us. That too a experienced trainer is always exceptional. The new workers may easily feel frustrated.Willingness in listening and to apply what was learned is expected. Many people do not feel comfortable training others. To the person that a trainer befriend today may be in a position to return the favour in some way tomorrow.

I think most people won't feel much threatened if they deliver knowledge to the newbies, but when we blame other's impatience, have we ever checked out within ourselves and see where lies the problem? Have you evered in any way showed bit of insincerity because you hold a higher degree than the exprienced worker in that company, or have you ever made triple mistakes by taking your ears off the expriences and suggestions of others to you? Even they stay high above unwilling to teach you patiently, ask yourself base on wat to blame them? what's their obligation to us?Nada, stand appriative anyway, i bet people finally be touched by your sincerity! Bill this is.What do you think, friend?

We are all came from the new, and we all know the difficulties as a rookie, so I work a few years later, in with the new people come, I will try to help them, guide them. Enable them to avoid detours, improve efficiency, increase the friendship between colleagues, so that we more united. We get along very well, and only help each other in order to get the job done. Everyone's work goes, happy every day.

I have had many different jobs in my life, I have often been "the new worker" and I try to use that experience when I train a new person. As a new worker I have been through many different kinds of introductions. Sometimes the experienced workers have been friendly, helpful and patient and sometimes they have been irritable and impatient. A good introduction to a new job is really important, it is only natural when a new worker makes mistakes or asks many questions, and I always try to help new workers the best I can. I am trying to repeat the good things that people have done for me in the past when I was the new worker. Some of the experienced workers have been really nice to me, I will always be grateful for that, and when I meet new workers I try to treat them the same way.

I definitely will have patience to train other workers. First of all, it is a kind of responsibility for the more experience workers to pass on skills and experiences, otherwise it will be such a waste for the previous effort accumulated. Besides, training new workers can be really productive and rewarding for the whole team. Since, the training campaign enables the green hands to master their skills in a more efficient manner, the overall efficiency of the team can be greatly enhanced by this way. Meanwhile, the training can probably help prevent those avoidable mistakes from happening, which is also beneficial of the whole team. That's why, I believe it will be a lot of positive rewards for training new workers, thus it's really worth the patience to do it.

well, yes. because once before i was also a trainee and they respect and treat me patiently. But their is this one guy who loves to insult and make fun while at work and if we commit mistake due to his act we just smile and never blame him. I considered it as part of the training and nothing much personal. After work, he respect me just like the others.

I am one of those people that have the patience to train the newbie. I don't mind doing that at all. Like you all have said everyone was new at time or another. I also know of people that feel threaten by training a new person thinking that the newbie could move up instead of them. I always thought that it would be okay if the newbie moved up. I could sit back and pat myself on the back and say..I taught that person.. Wouldn't that feel better than being angry with that person. Well anyways you have a nice day and a better tomorrow.

I absolutely have the patience to train other workers. This might sound wrong, but I prefer to train other workers a=rather than someone else, as I like to get things done MY way! The more people I train, the more things get done MY way! Catch my drift? =]
