What Do You Have To Look Forward To Next Month?

Today's date is August 30th, 2009. I was going to ask what we're all looking forward to in September, but it occured to me that someone responding to old discussions could find this six months from now, so "what are you looking forward to in September" would not be a relavent question. So, what are you looking forward to next month? For me, next month is September 2009, and I'm looking forward to all kinds of stuff. Aug 31, Sept 1, and Sept 3 my husband and I will received payments for different things. Sept 6 Hubby's and my 2nd anniversary, and that falls on a Sunday. This is relavent because the Danish Baker comes to Sunset Villa, the place where we got married, the first Sunday of every month. Since our anniversary happens to coincide with that Sunday, Mom has offered to buy us a nice Danish lunch. Yummy!! I want an openfaced shrimp sandwich with caviar, and maybe another one with smoked salmon. For dessert I want good Danish coffee, and a piece of Kransekage (baked marzipan, just like the baked marzipan that made up our wedding cake). The Kransekage pieces will be like "finger cookies" whereas our wedding cake was made of Kransekage rings, getting smaller as they got higher. We're also going to the Danish bakery, where we'll get some pasteries and other Danish meats and cheeses to eat during the month. My friend Ivan is going to dedicate a song to Walker and I on the Croatian program. We have been looking forward to that for a long time, and I have mentioned it on here before. September 16th My father and step-mother's 14th wedding anniversary!!! I have ordered a nice little gift for them, and will be sending it down there, as soon as I get it. I don't see them often because of the distance, but they are still going to get a nice greeting from me. September 30th, my Brother-in-law's 33rd (I think... well he's between 32-34 LOL) birthday. YAY!!! Still haven't figured oout what to send him for his birthday. I'll have to think of that for a bit longer. So as you can see, I have lots of things to look forward to in the coming month.

That sounds great. I love Kransekage, it is very delicious I turn 33 in September and my birthday is one of the things that I look forward to next month. I haven't decided how I am going to celebrate the day, but I look forward to spending some time with my family and some of my close friends. I often go out for dinner on my birthday. Last year we had Mexican food, but I don't know where we are going to eat this time. I also look forward to the first weekend in September, because some of our friends and my sister-in-law are coming over for dinner. I will be nice to talk to everyone and I hope that we will have a really good time. In the middle of September I am going to an autumn party in the nursing home where my grandmother lives. I couldn't make it last year, and I am happy that my husband and I are able to participate in the party this year.

Sounds like you're going to have quite the month! September should be a pretty exciting month for me too. I'm really hoping that at the begining of the month I am hired for a job and can start earning money again! I've been looking for a job all month now and finally have a few leads. We also have some family birthdays to look forward to! My husband has two in his immediate family and I have one in mine. Also, we have Apple Fest to look forward to! That's at the end of the month. I can't wait for that. My parent's are traveling us to visit that weekend so we can explore and enjoy the Apple Fest together! I'm also hoping to make some new friends this month. I'm new to the area and working on meeting new people. September will also be the start of fall in our area. I have the changing leaves and the cool weather to look forward to! Oh and I can't forget all of the great coupons I clipped this morning. I have using those to look forward to. I LOVE clipping/using coupons. I'm a crazy bargain hunter. September is going to be a great month! :-) Hopefully for all.

lol Your right because it is now November and I am just responding. But to go back to September I didn't have anything special to look forward to. But now it is November and I have a new grandchild to look forward to this month. My first grandchild. And a girl named Meadow. We know it's a girl and so they named her already. She is due on November 27th but since my daughter-in-law is having some problems. a little high blood pressure, they are going to induce her on Tues. the 17th. They say it will be slow so it will probably be till Wednesday night or early Thursday before she is born. The only bad thing for me is that they live in Winnipeg and I live in Calgary so I won't be there then. But I now have something to look forward to for December as I will be going home for christmas and get to see my granddaughter then. I will be staying with them for a week so I have lots of time to be with her.

Well... I have week booked off in the middle of Sept because my boyfriend is SUPPOSED TO BE coming for a visit. However I'm not looking forward to it right now because I really dont know if hes going to come because he hasnt bothered to call and find out WHY he hasnt received his passport that he applied for in april. So he hasnt booked his tickets yet. I'll get excited when he tells me hes done more than just request the days off..that he booked his tickets or is planning on driving up instead. If it wasnt for the passport thing i'd be excited but if he doesnt get his butt in gear and check then...he cant fly.

I know I'm being noisy, but I'm a little confused. Why would he need a passport for flying but not driving? And I hope he gets on the ball about that. I know how annoying the uncertainty is.

My birthday: September 3rd, well we won't say what year. Let's just say, that i am feeling pretty good. I even had a surprise birthday party, something that i have never had before, so it was very nice. I got moved into my mobile home, and after a few days, got my internet service transferred over, so now i am back online. We are still doing some work on the mobile home, but at least i can live in it now, so that is really great.

Next month (October 2009) I am looking forward to spending 3 weeks in Bali with my partner and some friends and family. It will be our first break from work since last year. We have both been promoted during that time, so have been working crazy hours recently, so we are both looking forward to spending some time relaxing by the pool and on the beach.

I always look forward to anything good and positive everyday or every month or every year whatever it may be. If you don't look forward to anything, life will be redundant or boring. We must keep our lives healthy and alive and with things going around the world, we should act on something everyday and that means always looking forward to something good everyday.

I'll be having my training this whole month of September and it's gonna start this Sunday which is by the way I'm much excited about. 8 is my brother's birthday. Our father would be going back to Italy on September 16th. We'll be spending time before he goes back so we're planning to go out of town and go for a swim. And of course, my boyfriend and I will be having our 4th anniversary this month!

Next month for me (September as well) is exciting because I'll be going back to school to finish my DEC in Early childhood education. I also booked my first party for September 13th (I just started up a business animating children's parties) so I am really happy about that. Also, I have like four b-days in my family, including my mom's so there will be lots of family get-togethers and gift giving and cake-eating!!

Oh my September is quite busy and crazy like yours! Labor Day weekend we have a fair like thing called "A Taste Of Colorado" that is a family tradition to go to we have to go yearly. Then the same weekend a road trip to the state fair to see Darius Rucker. Then I also have 4 birthdays and 2 weddings all before September 26. Not to mention all the preparation to get ready for the weddings, it is my boyfriend's sisters wedding and my best friends wedding so they are definitely not just a show up and enjoy kind of thing. There is so much to do this month, not to mention all the working on top of it all! :)

The best thing about September is the start of football season. The Falcons play their first season home game this coming thursday night, with two more following on the 13th and 20th! For the record, I'm not much of a fan..BUT..it means more hours (more $) and that's worth the excitement of it. My little brother's birthday is the 4th..Little in that he's 2 years younger and some 4" shorter. Liz may be working labor day weekend. One of her clients wants to go to a family reunion and she'll be watching their 'weenie' critters for a few days. Liz has decided to get her SSI retirement stuff going before some fool(s) pisss it away of some weird folly that includes her money but not her. ENJOY!
