I usually using utorrents when I'm still on MS Windows. But now I'm on Apple Mac OS, VUZE (formerly Azureus). Although there is also uTorrents on Mac but It is darn too slow and I don't know why. So, I found out about Vuze so I download it and install and now satisfied. I like the interface or GUI. Easy torrent download like videos, movies, audios, applications and other files. Can add templates for searching on different torrent servers. And it has a community.

goodmorning alexpaulrox. Yep, Vuze is for those with intel core 2 duo or equivalent and with at least 1 to 2 gigs of ram. Vuze use a lot of CPU but my Mac don't get slow down because I got a power computer. I can still post here in mylot decently while Vuze is downloading music files at a vuze controlled automatically internet speed. My itunes is still running and playing music also, for a background music. Sometimes I can play some high cpu usage games while vuze downloading and still don't get slow down or crashes or hang-ups. I always download using Vuze overnight for a full speed downloading. I downloaded a 6 gigs or sometimes a 10 gigs applications for just less than 24 hours. But on uTorrent (Mac version) overnight downloading with those kind of applications the Estimated time to finish are a week and it is really so slow. Although uTorrent has just only simple interface but I don't know why it is slow downloading. Anyway, I'm clearly satisfied my experience using Vuze for downloading torrents. Thanks and have a nice day. Enjoy myLot.

I think personally that VUZE is a bit on the high tech level. It just ain't easy enough for me to use. Plus it uses so much of the CPU! Its probabily because of its interface. Is it hardware junkie in MAC? Perhaps its made for MAC interface ? Then i can understand. Keep posting APR

The client that i use for torrent is bitcomet as it gives an addtional feature that is when the file is been downloaded upto 10% it allows you to play the file and by this we can come to know the print and the clarity. There are many software like bitcomet, azurus and utorrent.

Ya it displays some kind of graphs i guess which is to be understood. I heard that the download speed suddenly shoots up high when you start the download.

yeh we are true utorrent users. its simple and only 281 KB of software which gives full broadband speed while working. i was using a bittorrent client for 2-3 years. then i find utorrent with simple and responsive software. i do use other torrent clients such as limewire and Emule. but both doesnt gives me full speed and contain viruses due to tracking from different sources. My source for torrent files are from Isohunt, torrentbox, mininova and sumotorrent. i will rate isohunt as 5/5 stars because its super. then second is mininova. In mininova i really hate their fonts and styles.

i used to do the torrenting thing sometime ago... i don't do much of that now, i like rapidshare and megaupload now... well at that time i used bitcomet for downloading and for the purpose of 'tunneling' i used your freedom... i don't like to keep my computer switched on all day for downloading so i don't do it anymore, but the advantage is that you get nearly everything on torrent..... so enjoy it, have a nice day alex!

I have been using utorrent for nearly 1.5 years. When I switched from azureus it was because utorrent was fast and safe. I also liked how it clearly showed all of the downloads in one user friendly screen. I did some research and hands down, utorrent was the most popular then and is now. It is the most popular for a reason. It is the best torrent software out on the market today, and it is the leader in torrent software too.

I've generally used Utorrent, but recently I've been using BitTorrent which looks and works just the same as Utorrent. Might be the same program as far as the interface is concerned.

Yeah I noticed too They seem to be exactly the same! But bittorrent has got a bit more size! Thats all. I suggest u don't change though. Utorrent is clearly the best soft for torrent. I say this because it gets updated quickly (the edge it has against bit) Keep posting jwfarrimond. APR

uTorrent is the one i use the most because it is accepted more. There are a few sites I use that don't accept it but do accept Bitlord. I download files that have the best comments and best health in that order, especially for movies. Don't you just hate people who upload garbage files?

Yeah I know Have had to format my computer a couple of times due to that.(*#$@%^) Now that I have cooled down,I think its best to read the comments carefully and then proceed. keep posting AP
