"I have babies, mom!"

A novelist couldn't have imagined it. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction. When Jaycee was reunited with her mom after 18 years of living with her kidnappers, the very first words she uttered were "I have babies, mom!" Kidnapped when she was just 11, Jaycee had born her kidnapper two daughters who know her as an elder sister. Apparently, Jaycee had never spoken of her plight even to her two children. And the repressed situation had made her stay as an 11 year old waiting to be rescued. Like a child's play, she broke the news of having babies when she finally saw her mom. Could you have imagined this?

I have been keeping track of this story too. It's so sad. I'm not sure why she wasn't allowed to acknowledge her children but that man was clearly disturbed, and probably always will be. apparently, they were living in a tent city with garbage all around them and not allowed to go anywhere. Her mother I'm sure is both relieved to have her back and shocked to learn what happened to her. This family definitely needs our prayers.

Hi stephwrites! I have two daughters myself and I even fetch them two streets away when they come home in the evening. I wouldn't bear any bad thing that might happen. I pray to God to shield them from harm every moment of their lives. I grieve in pain for Jaycee's mom who had to endure that her child had been repeatedly molested for 18 years, imprisoned in a garbage compound and coerced to exist a nonexistent life. I am praying that the family, including the two girls sired by the deviant, find peace and love. Hope springs eternal.
