Dawn or Dusk.......the choices

If good things fail to dawn wouldn't you wish for a dusk to end everything. An abrupt stop or end would be the most desirous condition when nothing turns your favor.A hand to mouth existence on little resources is the dread of most humans. How fare it would be if everything comes to an abrupt end. Can't help the negative outlook.....not so good experiences force into thinking in such a vein !!

There will always be a dawn. Maybe not the one I wish for, or need, but there will be one, and I will wait for it to come and enjoy it regardless of how much or less it will benefit me. Dusk brings a closing around me. A loss of hope. Dark. Dawn leaves me with positive feelings, even if feeble and I prefer it so much more.

I'm sorry to hear you're going through great challenges now. You know from past experience that troubles eventually get resolved. Then life is smooth again for awhile. I am also dealing with a limited income and more expense now that my daughter has come to live with me. I tend to worry about how I'm going to make it until the end of the month. Worrying doesn't change it, so I strive to stay on a strict budget and focus on a solution instead of the problem. God has never let me starve or be homeless, although I've been close to homeless. Dawn to dusk is a nice fantasy and you might be able to create your own dusk in your mind. End the worry because you're doing everything you can to create income. Yes, it's easier said than done. Just keep on keeping on, dear Suk.

that is too often true, mostly because we are focused on ourselves rather than on seeking God and his will.

Hi sukumar, I sincerely hope that things improve for you soon. It is not good to wish for the end of life if that is what you are thinking. We all get negative thoughts sometimes, when we reach a low point in life. There should be something that you can be thankful for and thinking that way will help you feel better. Never give up hope that things will turn around, I'm seen it happen on many occasions. Blessings friend.

I think very few of us have favorable circumstances right now, my friend! I feel the same way you do sometimes, but you can get good from every situation. Remember that we are on this earth to learn, not to earn. Reach out to your friends and neighbors and try to do some kind thing to at least one person every day. Grow spiritually since you can't grow your bank account, learn from your misfortunes and try to pave the way for others to avoid mistakes you may have made. Teach a child to read or just play with them for a few minutes. Listen to an old person remember their youth, give your time to someone. Grow your soul so that you can show God the riches you have laid up in heaven when it's your time to leave this earth. He certainly won't care about the riches you've laid in the banks.

Hi sukumar, Well expressed. But life is vaster than empires and prediction is almost impossible. Mere semblance would not do. If some are dying from over eating some are having nothing to eat. and what would be abrupt. Life is never abrupt. if anything has to abrupt is you and me and some event the flow of life is ever undisturbed. I am not happy, so go get hanged would not be a solution for me. The hand to mouth condition too is not welcomed and there we need the abrupt to take place which virtually never happens.

I'm sorry that you are feeling that way right now. I have felt that way alot of times in my life too. I have my good days and my bad days. I try to make the most out of each day though, hoping it to get better. Good luck to you too.

Every human beings face obstacles in their way, standing between the way you and the things you want. I do often feel the same way and when situation is hitting me hard I hope that God unplug my life so won't have anymore sufferings. But when we come to deep thoughts we will come to a sound reasoning that there is hardly a problem which does not find its solution. Yes, pain and discouragement are indeed hard to bear. But if you will just try to live just one minute at a time, facing one difficulty at a time in the best way you know how and forgetting all about the others, you will be astonished at how much lighter each one of them will become! Wherever you are and whatever happens to you, if you are a child of God you can enter each day with quiet confidence.
