Worst day of my life....

This has to be my worst day in my life.Since yesterday my wife & son who is 6 yrs old were suffering from fever , cold & cough.Both of them are almost bedridden.I have one more daughter who is 15 months old.Today morning as my wife & son were sleeping, I was looking after my daughter.I was playing with her & mylotting.All of a sudden she fell down from the sofa & got a deep cut on her lower lip.The blood oozed out like anything.It was bleeding so heavily that I had to take her to the doctor.Now she is OK but will the wound mark go is my question.I am really sad today.Just because of my carelesness my daughter sufferred.

Hello krupesh, I am sorry things should have turned out so bad for u today. It is hard for us to imagine the extent of injury. But ideally, u should approach any plastic surgeon in the vicinity. I too was injury prone, and do have a scar on my forehead corner. I got it around the age of 7. It is inconspicuous. Based on this, I can safely say it will not be a cause of concern after a few years. As to ur feeling of guilt, I feel that is unreasonable of u to blame urself. U were mylotting to earn for ur family. It is not as if u were earning only for urself. So it is just one of those days when everything seems to go wrong. Hang in there cleverone. I will need a friend like u. :) Take care.

Thx for your comforting words the cleverer one.I am not here to earn but just to pass the time I come to mylot.My wife will be always fighting with me if I sit in front of the computer instead of taking care of the children while she is doing some work.I just ignore all those things & keep on reading the discussions here at MYLOT.The responses & the comments to the responses to my discussions are less from me.I just love reading other discussions & to a some extent start discussions.I till now have got a single payment from MYLOT.So I am not here to earn money but to learn & have some fun.
When you can learn & have some fun , why do you want to earn?

Grrr, U were the one who started clever and not clever. :) But forget it. :) How is ur daughter? And I am glad u r not here to earn. I am. :( Well, then I can trouble u all the more, can't I? After all u wont mind wasting time to help me. he he. Seriously - dont feel guilty, if it had to happen, it would have happened anyway. Everything will be alright. At my age I can afford to say so.

She is OK now & I am happy that the wound has healed very quickly.Defenitely am not here for the money & sure I will help you in whatever I know.

This is part of life for most children. Had you been sitting there watching her, the same thing could have happened. Children heal quickly and well and it is almost certain there will be no scar or mark.
I hope your wife and son are better today and will keep improving and that your daughter is back to her mischievous little self.

Yes they are a mischeif lot & it happens.You are right , even if we are watching sometimes they get hurt.Its quiet natural but still I feel guilty that I did not put her on my lap when she came to me.
I was a lil' bit worried about the scar but it seems that its healing much faster & hope no scar is left on the lip.
My son is better & my wife is still having some cough & cold.Thanks for your concern.

I know you feel bad but in the whole scheme of life, is this is the worse thing that happens to you, your life is good.
My son was a regular in the ER, he got stitches 3 times in 9 weeks...all on his face. It happens.
Now don't feel sad and look at the great things you have in your life.

Dear friend, Don,t bother. Just be patience . Just remember that what is going to happen will happen anyway, It is not your fault. Sometimes circumstances don,t go on our side but then things will be alright at some time. Every cloud has a silver lining. Your daughter scar will go in no time. I had samething with my son but then now everything is Ok. Be happy.
