As a mother, I try very hard not to favor one child. But it can be hard because they are all different and some of their personalities and behavior are bad or annoying. Usually I have to close my eyes and count to five to calm myself down before I say or do anything! Some days I love being a mother and some days I could do without!!

i also have gone through the same situation and led to the result that parents are attached to a favourite one. while others are just the second priority.
what ever you do for your parents the top position is fixed and cannot be taken by you easily.while what ever wrong the fav. kid do, thats all forgiven in an instance.
thats not fair and i oppose it. parents should treat all the chindren alike and never try to bring a feeling to any one of those that they love a particular child more than others.
