What kind of make up should I wear?

I am looking for advice on what brand names would be best for me. I have a t-zone complexion and like an oil base make up. I have been using Olay make-up to date and I do like it But, I wonder if some other brand might be more appealing for my age and make me look younger and better. Not powdery that will extentuate wrinkles and spots. I am 57, soon to be 58. I have reddish-brown hair and eyes and like to wear brown eye shadow and eyeliner. I also wear brown mascara. I use rose or berry color on my cheeks. I am wondering what tips I can learn to look better. I was always a tom boy type and never really spent much time on make-up. Any tips on what i can wear on my eye lids where I can avoid my eyelids sort scrunching up and being all wrinkly after afew hours of wearing make-up. Is there something I can do or do I just deal with it?And, what type/brand of lipstick can i get? Some brand that has nice shades but will show up and stay a while as well as look sexxy and alluring on my lips. Now I am looking to improve and doing a sort of make over as it were. Any advise is appreciated.

Hey celtic! It sounds to me like you have your makeup under control! Sounds like you are wearing what looks good on you already! You seem to have the colors that match your skin tones and the eye shadow and eyeliner and mascara too! I'm not an expert by no means, but it sounds like you do know your colors that work well for you. I have dark brown hair and wear beige shadow on my eyelids and brown in the creases above the lids to sort of frame it and give it a smoky look. I wear black liner in a thin line, black mascara. I use a mauve/rose blush and and a pink lip gloss. I change the lip color to a bit darker with the season, but have learned that I can't wear too dark lipstick anymore.

I think that sounds nice. I am going to go have it professionally done at the mall in a month or so and see what they suggest as well. I think what you described sounds nice. I use pretty much the same colors. I have trouble feeling good out my lip gloss though. I don't feel like it shows up enough for me. I will have my daughter check it for me I guess. Thanks for your insight.
