Junior Practium Log #1

Today was my first day of student teaching. Kind of. So, I decided to make a log to chronicle all 15 days I will be student teaching. I called in on Friday and was told to come on a Tuesday because school started on a Thursday and it is only going to be a half day. However, today seemed kind of pointless. It was just a staff meeting for the teachers. I was really bored. Not only that. It was held in another school and I was an hour late. As someone who prides themself on being prompt, this miffed me. However, everyone understood and I did not get in trouble. I met the teacher I am going to be working with and she is really nice. So is the aid. So, it was good and bad. I was annoyed I didn't get to work with the kids yet, but have 14 more times to do that. It was interesting to see how teachers really prepare from the new school year. I hope the rest of my practicum goes well.
