If you won $300,000 what would you do with the money?

What is the first thing you would do with the money? I would pay off my mortage and the rest of my bills. Then I would take a long vacation.

I'd fly to London!!! Pick up a friend then maybe go to Australia. LOL And then... who knows? --- --- --- "I certainly think Britney Spears is the devil. The way she projects herself and the fact that she is so obviously vacuous. I think it's such a shame that she became so influential to very small children." -- MORRISSEY --- --- ---

leny - lenypink
I'd open up a term deposit with a good bank like ING Direct online banking because they do OVER six percent per annum unlike other bank in australia that only give about five percent and that is on VERY high deposits

I would pay off my unsecured (credit card) debts first, then a couple of personal loans. Keep my mortgages for awhile, for tax purposes. Fix up our classic cars. Travel, travel, travel, but keep my job, it is seasonal, and satisfying. Help out both my adult kids. Money for a church project. Invest at least half.

I'd buy a lot of CDs, Jerseys, a dirt bike, and probably donate some of it.

I agree with you I would pay off my house and then give my family some. Then I would go on a trip around the world.
