Do all of us women (and men if you guys want to play along) have a kind of fantasy man/woman that we think of from time to time? I like tall guys and ones with dark hair and, oh he is macho to the max. Remember the song: Holding out for a Hero sung by Bonnie Tyler? Great song and it says it like I feel.
Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the street-wise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and dream
of what I need
[Chorus]
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder end rising with the heat
It's gonna take a superman to sweep me off my feet
[Chorus]
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there's someone somewhere
Watching me
Through the wind end the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach
Like the fire in my blood

I guess I just want that special guy. Smart, moralistic, confidant and drop dead handsome. A hero and a guy with a calling. Do you know what I mean? Am i asking for too much? Oh, and a gentleman. I am told that these things are long gone and I am expecting too much from the guy pool. What do you folks think?

I dont think you asking to much. If i knew what i know now before i got married 20 years ago i would have waited for Mr Right. My Mr Right is tall , muscular, LONG thick dark brown hair sorta country man look but definitely clean shaven. And i found him Mr Right my loving Master. Oh ya and hes smart and logical and compassionate :)

I have a little problem with the 'my loving Master' but the rest sounds great. I would probably change it to 'my loving hero'.

Well I do not think you are asking too much because you have a right to ask for something for your betterment and so what if we do not get all at least we are conscious about what we want in life. I had also many of these wishes but when I met my boyfriend he was not totally the way I wanted but then I realized that we do not get everything we wish for and sometimes what we get is better than we dream of just like in my case, he is the one for me now.
