If you like me than you live paycheck to paycheck
.
I make enough money to pay my bills buy some groceries and have a little fun money left. If I could get enough money every month so I can pay my bills and have fun money I would gladly retire.
.
If you could have a guaranteed all payed monthly paycheck to cover your bills would you quit working? Or would you rather work for the extra money so you could have all the other things in live?

Hi missybear. I don't have a paying job, but my husband has told me on more than one occasion that if he was guaranteed the same income that he gets now without having to work he'd be more than happy to quit his job and retire! LOL
My husband and I live pretty much paycheck to paycheck. Like you, we sometimes have a little fun money left over. Though by the time the next pay period rolls around it's already been spent. LOL
I guess you can say I'm the opposite. I've actually been wanting to get a job (if anyone would hire me, that is) to help supplement our income. It's kind of a good thing I don't have one though at the moment, because I wouldn't be able to get there anyway! Wish me luck that I'll be able to find something reliable and for cheap this weekend. Because at this point it's the only thing my husband and I can afford.
Happy mylotting!

I hope you find something soon, it's a tough world out there right now and we all have to try to find a way to make it.

Thanks missybear. You don't need to tell me twice! What's really bad is that in my husband's line of work he needs a reliable vehicle to get around. And with both of ours being out of commission the quickest solution is to get another. Joy. Hopefully we'll luck out and find something that won't be a piece of sh*t, like my last car turned out to be.

Yes, I live like you... But I wouldn't change it for the world! I appreciate the things that I have in life and the things that I can afford!

That's great not a lot of people like that anymore.
Everybody want more money and more toys.

Yes! A lot of people do want more money and more toys! But! If you don't have it! Why even stress about it! I am happy with the clothes I have and my daughter getting everything that we can provide for her! As long as we got our health, love from family and friends I am going to be alright and so will you! Take Care!

i don't have bills to pay as i live with my parents. and i do only use my money to buy for my personal things. but i don't have a real job. i do get some money online. but that was it. quite scary actually not to have my own source of income. it is not always easy to depend on parents. though i don't totally depend on them . i mean as i don't buy any thing except for basic things like food at home and electricity and nothing more.

Hey missy! I always lived paycheck to paycheck or actually
I was always one paycheck behind! And now that I am living
on disability I just try to manage! I don't have extra, but
try to figure out what I'm going to do because I need to make
sure that I have something extra in case something does happen
and I need some extra money. It is a neverending circle no
matter what I do and always has been so I really don't have
an answer. When I was working I still wasn't able to make
sure that I was ok if something did happen to me and it did
happen and now I what am I supposed to do?

Unless I win the lottery or a big jack pot that's how my life is gonna be too, but it's ok I'm happy to be alive.

I would still probably work some, not full-time mind you, but some. I'm still young and there are things that I want and things that I would like to be able provide for other people. So, if working some would allow me to do those extra things, without the stress of knowing that I have to work just to cover myself, that would be perfect.
Even if I had won the lottery and had more money than I knew what to do with, I would still need to find something to occupy my time. Whether that would be going back to school, or volunteering, I'd have to keep busy with something.

We have a lot of volunteers at my work and they are the same way. They need something to occupy there time at least for a few hours a day.

i am presently not working due to my health but i was working earliar and i plan to work later on,for me doing some outside job is a form of stress-buster and it is a sort of entertainment too.my work is quite challenging, hence i love my job but i would try to see to it that my other priorities are not cut down because of my job.

i'd try to find a job that i could work my own hours, so i could work when i felt like it or a job where i could work from home. I guess i kind of do that now, but its not that great money :P i babysit and my husband works. I make extra money. We could live off his pay barely. but i'd rather make the extra money to buy treats and stuff ;)

I think working from home would be the ultimate solution.

Not a lot just enough to get me out of the house a couple hours a day

I wish that's how we could do it, I'm ready to do nothing for the rest of my life

I would still work, because I love what I do. I also have two boys that will need money for college so quitting wouldn't be an option, but it is a nice thought :)
