The President has just arrived close to where I live, I seen the plane getting ready to land and now they're showing it landing on T.V. , I live really close to the airport where he has landed and am wondering if I should go and try to get a glimpse of air force one or the president or is this a really bad idea?? Probably a bad idea, but I could be there in 5 minutes!!

Go for it! I can't stand Obama, but he is the president. Besides, if you see him, then on one hand you saw a sitting president.. on the other hand, for the rest of your life, you can say that you saw the only person to be elected president, then removed from office in shame because he wasn't eligible. ;~D
(((yes, I was joking)))
I'm no Obama fan, but I did drive an hour to Green Bay because he was there. Once for a campaign rally, the other time as part of a protest. :~D

Go ahead and go and take your camera, if you have one. You never know when you'll get the opportunity again.

LOL!!! Nope, sorry!
I didn't take any pics, though I did see AF 1. He ended up getting in a helicopter and going to the GM factory here.....probably because they are calling people back to work on 2nd shift....too bad it's not 2nd and 3rd.
I think he should have gone for a drive because I'm sure there are some areas where he would have noticed vacant houses and closed businesses. Guess it all looks better from the air when you can fly over the mall where there's a lot of traffic?

I think it is totally up to you. I think I would go and try to get a glimpse also if I lived that close to where he was going to be. I think it could be a good idea if you get to see him.

I know I'D be there if I were that close! I'm a supporter of our President but even if I weren't I think I'd take advantage of the opportunity to see the President in person. I went to a rally and saw President Clinton the Sunday before the 1992 election and, although he hadn't yet been elected it's still something I'll never forget.
