Suddenly this topic strike my mind and Let's have a discussion over this issue. I myself feel handicapped without any internet service at home. When I first move to my Parent-in-laws house, there is no home fixed phone line. It is impossible for us to get an internet service at that point of time. So most of the time, me and my husband will go internet cafe to surf chat when we have time. It is pretty inconvenience for us. A few years later, a phone line is In to the housing area. Happy, at last we can get an internet service at home. We quickly subscribed to unlimited internet service usage. It is more worthy as we hardly off our laptop at night,so it is kinda of run for 24 hours. With this internet service, I have a habit to surf net, login to facebook, updating blog, chatting almost everyday. I can say that I am getting addicted to internet. How about you guys?? Do share with me your experience. Thank you!!

It might sound crazy but I don't think I can survive without internet connection. I'm spending almost all of my time here online and I guess it will be a lot difficult for me if my connection will be lost. I am currently subscribing at an unlimited plan so that I can surf all day as long as I want to. This is the only thing that keeps me busy that's why I don't think it's possible for me to live without an internet connection.

Hi Ldel0318, From your respond, I believe you are addicted to your computer and internet service as well. With such an advance and modern environment, everybody is having a computer at home, so internet service is a must to make it available too as it helps us to get more info online and sametime we can keep in touch with our friends too. Just wondering what kind of job you are doing currently? Since you did mentioned that you spend most of your time online, So I guess either at home or in the office, you are facing a computer everyday.

Hey, No I personally think that I could survive without an Internet Service. The main reason is because with the Internet I can chat with my friends, and more importantly send emails. Imagine if we couldn't send emails, they would take days to arrive. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I go crazy without being on the internet. My family went on vacation one year to my sister-in laws house for a week and they had no computer. I could not check my email or go to my favorite sites or nothing. I was really lost. I am on the computer all the time and not having a computer even for a couple of days is hard for me. I am definitely addicted to the internet. I need help.

Hello there shia88, I've just responded to another discussion of yours regarding staying at home for the whole week and I've just stated that I survived that because I have internet to keep me occupied. Now, back to this discussion. I dont think I can survive without an internet service. I may still hold on if we are talking about two or maybe three days without going online. But if you meant not having internet service at all, I dont think I can make it. These days, so many things can be achieved through being online. It will be such a step backward if we deprived ourself from the wonders of internet. With all that said, I like to say, how can we myLot without the internet?

Hi shia88, No I´m not addicted to the Internet in particular before at the start I was a bit. But then all the excitemente wore off and I like being on here but now I´m trying to chisel my time down on the Computer. It was quite funny when we had dialup with the ping noises it made. However the Internet package we have at the moment is hardly a mega coming in sometimes and these three in the House want to do everything and their surfing comes first before anything. I prefer them to use their messengers instead of the mobile phones so that is one advantage of the Internet. I don´t use Twitter or Facebook very much I don´t have that much time free either so maybe thats a good thing too. Enjoy your surfing.

i am addicted to internet too,it is difficult for me to live without internet service. everyday,i must turn on my computer and spend hours to read news online, update my blog, chat with friends, read books, learn photoshop skill by watching Vedio dates, watch film online and so on. in my opinion, the internet service is a combination of TV set,Radio, book, magazine and encyclopedia.

Yes, of course I can survive without the internet. I'll just read some books that are just waiting for me to pick them up. But, it will be a very boringgg and dull day. It will make me so uncomfortable thinking, I should be in discussions in mylot... Is it time for me to harvest in my farms in facebook and darn it! I need to check my mails...

i can. when i was still in school, it seems like i am useless without computer or being online. i had my own connection before and i can stay sun up to sun down in front of my PC. there were times that sleeping is almost like not an option to me hehehe.. anyway, when i graduated, i move out of the city with my laptop and its kinda of useless if i get a connection of my own. im on a night shift so when i go home, i crash right away.. i only go online during my rest days, from sun up to sun down. hahaha..

I most likely will not be able to survive without Internet connection either. I think that's the case with a lot of people these days, after having used the Internet and computer so much that we just can't live without it anymore. It's just a part of our daily lives. I go on the Internet just about every day to check my email, do my homework, blog, check Facebook, talk with friends, etc. There's just so many things I do on the Internet that are so important to me now, not having Internet connection will probably make me feel really anxious and wondering whether or not my friends are wondering weird I disappeared to, cause I'm not emailing them back and everything. Last summer when I was back in Taiwan, I had only limited Internet access because my cousin hogged the computer so much, and that made me feel anxious because I wanted to have a chance to talk to and keep up with my friends and news from home. So me and no Internet just don't go together.

I can survive without the internet for a week or more. Sometime when Internet is not available, I feel that I can do more things at home and do things I like, especially reading and teaching my boy. With Internet, I will just too hook on it from morning till evening and hardly get things done at home. In the end of the day, I'm like a rushing mad cow for settle everything in the house. Normally I online in the day time without disconnected even I need to off the seat for other work. Once I'm in front of computer, the time just past very fast and for sure there are many to do when online, facebook, mylot, check email, online shopping, chatting and etc. Love it, but can't really live without it.

shia... I think nowadays internet has become one of the element in everyone's life.. Most of my friend's household are being wired up with internet, some of us, having to have wireless connection too! As for me, I could only life without the internet, if I am outside the house.. even then, when I am just too bored, I will log in to Facebook, updating my status, with my mobile.. now, with blogs, mylots and others application, I think my day will not call perfect if I do not land my hand on any of this.. I even now read news online instead of the newspaper..

One word - NO! lol.. I cannot survive without the internet, it will be a very torturing day for me, good grief! I dare not think about it yet, but if it really cannot be helped, I will pack my laptop and go over to my brother's house nearby to connect back. But if his internet is also down, the next choice will be my office, I might put up a night there. :) Just joking, probably I will look for other options that come with the Internet connection!

Hmmm... I can't really find a reason why I cannot survive without the internet, literally. I have lived well even before the Internet was born. People might say they cannot survive without the internet but reality would state that you can. Though, it will take a huge re-adjustment, just like you did the first time you were introduced to the internet. After all, the internet is just a habit.

I did last month. A few months ago both my cable and internet were disconnected. You know what? It was one of the best things to happen to me. The first few days I began binging out on it. I felt disconnected from the world but by the end I was doing things I hadnt done before and taking time to discover things about myself. It was wonderful. I began writing a screen play and finished it and wrote half of another one by the time it was turned back on. Since I've had it back I havent written a thing. I must say though having it back I've slowly crept back into my old way. I'm really going to have to change myself and redicover the greatness of the outter world again. I really do plan to regulate myself again. I think the internet and tv can be addictions. Bad ones.
