Does your place of employment skip paper pay stubs?

I worked a job over the summer where each payday Friday, I'd get a pay stub from the company that I could view all of my job information on. I only worked there for a few weeks, maybe a month or a little more than a month and then I got hired at a much better place of employement and this company is quite interesting. Each time I get paid, my paycheck is automatically deposited into my checking account and if I want to see my paystub, I have to go to a certain website that they use to hold workers accounts. We log in with our information and the website holds all of our paystub information, even our very first paycheck. I think it has its advantages. It's nice not having a bunch of paper clogging up the place because of paystubs and it's nice that I'm saving trees because they're not constantly printing out stubs. However, sometimes it's nice to have that physical paper to hold onto. So, are your paystubs virtual now or do you still recieve paper paystubs? Would you like to have virtual paystubs or do you prefer paper?

I have virtual paystubs and i dont mind it. Seems like its better to do things online with paystubs. Having a debit card with my pay direct deposit is much better because i dont have to make trip to bank for cashing the paper checks.

That's why I love direct deposit. It's much easier and I have faster access to my paychecks than I would if I would actually have to cash my check. However even with direct deposit most places usually give you a paper paystub. At our new place everything is online.

actually it doesn't matter to me if the pay stub is through paper or virtual or computerize, what matter to me is the salary is accurate. though pay stub is your way to find out if they pay you accurately.

I am surprised my husband's company does not do that because they are a very computer oriented business. They do direct deposit his check but we always get a stub in the mail which I think is an incredible waste of money, spending postage for all of those employees when they could just use the computer or just pass out the pay check stubs.

We have direct deposit but we still get a paper stub on payday. I would love to have in online though. I would just make sure to download it onto my computer just in case.
