Yeah sure there is 'Lust' in 'Love'.But some people say that the Love without Lust is what we call Pure Friendship.Do you agree with this?I don't.Because in my opinion friendship is in different plane and is a feeling or the mental attachment of two people beyond their gender.Whats your opinion about this friends?

Hi Abhaijith, I think "mental attachment" is love. :) I mean, if I am mentally attached to the person, I'd be constantly thinking about the person, and if that is not love, what is? Love generally has a lust component, but it can survive even without it! Being attached mentally means u need not words between the two I suppose. Each one understands the other perfectly! That is deep by my standards! If u say that is not love, u have me thoroughly confused.

I love my husband, but I don't always lust after him. When I'm mad at him there is no lust between us, but we still love each other. So love without lust is still love!

Hi abhanaijith, I believe that we are able to love a person and have moments where we lust for their attention. Friendship love is different from couple or husband/wife love. It is possible to lust after and for anyone, your mind and body control that, but just because you love someone does not mean you have to always lust after and for them. Lust, I think, is better left to those times when you feel a certain need to show your affection to your better half :) You and your friends can have a lust for the same interest, you know the kind that makes you always want it, be it sports, chatting online, traveling, etc. Have a great day.
