How often do you give a compliment?

The compliments I give to others are based on what I'm feeling - and I guess sometimes even *how* I'm feeling. Usually it's something I have specifically noticed about them - something that got my attention. I'm not one to just "say something nice" for the sake of being nice - I have to feel it and it has to be real. It does brighten one's day - to receive a compliment - and also to be the giver and receive a smile in return. The smile holds just as much warmth as the compliment did. And couldn't everyone use a little more warmth and joy?

yes, i give compliment to someone who really deserves to be appreciated. i notice some people "play politics" and give compliments even if these are fake. i don't know, maybe i am just being negative in my observation, but i easily notice people who aren't sincere. maybe because of the length of time u know these people, u can already tell if they are sincere or not. it is really rewarding to receive a compliment and i thank people for these. i know who are sincere or not, but i thank all of them anyway. we should give a sincere compliment/credit where credit is due.

i love giving compliments especially to those who really deserves a compliments. And because of giving compliments i gained more friends and they do the same thing too. But of course you should give a genuine and sincere compliments and not ironic one. Sometimes people uses compliment words just to insult you and that is not good.

I agree giving compliments raises one's self esteem and brightens up one's day. I give compliments a lot especially to my children, friends and even to strangers. Make sure what you give is sincere and honest. When I see them smile, I feel good inside that I made someone happy today.

hello there! i usually gives compliment to my friends and some people that i met...i am a type of person who looks for the good things in the person...i also feel that giving compliments is something that can start a friendship or even just a good relation...but of course i give it with sincerity... when someone gives me a compliment, oh well, sometimes i feel shy...haha but i am always thankful and yes makes me smile and brightens up my day! have a nice day!

I normally try to give people compliments as often as possible. I make sure they are all pure and real. I dont ever want to give a compliment I don't 100 percent mean. I also try to make my compliments different sometimes it can be something you wearing, sometimes something you say, sometimes something I know you've done.

Sure i`m giving compliments to girls . A girl all the time needs to know that she`s loved or cared . isn`t so ? I`m always sincere and a direct guy . I`m telling my friends the true about what i`m thinking about them and if i like somethig or not on their clothes or appearence and so on . But i love to make compliments to sweet girls , or if i see them sad, i`ll make some compliments, and she`s already feeling better .

I often give compliments to every people I meet. I know that it makes a lot of difference having to give compliments to others as well as being complimented.

i give compliments all the time whether it's to an attractive women or to someone's cooking or sense of style. I also compliment on people's cars and hairstyles. Sometimes i compliment people too much and people think I'm making fun of them.

Compliments are very sweet. I love being complimented as well lol. Everytime I see good things one does or has, I wouldn't hesitate give him/her compliments either it's about his/her clothes, cooking, achievements etc. It's very nice to see their happy face when you do that.
