I fell in love with this phone when I saw it for sale on EBay. I waited until I was due for an upgrade, then purchased it from AT&T. It figures that the issues start right after the 30 day return expires. It didn't want to send text messages or keep much of a signal. I went through 4 hours on the phone with AT&T before they decided I would get a replacement through warranty exchange. Sadly, I'm having issues with my replacement as well. It sends regular text messages, but occasionally has problems sending MMS and drops calls a lot. It's very annoying. Is anyone else having issues with theirs? Would you demand another replacement(I don't know how often they allow you to do it) or just purchase a second hand cell phone to see if you have the same problem(maybe it's a signal issue or simply a bad reception area for example)? Thanks!

The amount of replacements they allow doesn't matter. You, as a consumer are to expect a working product. Even after warranty you keep the right of getting replacements or repairs. In case this does not fix your problem you're in your right to claim your money back. If they give troubles you could always contact your local consumer protection bureau.

I hope they will see it the same way. Sometimes their policies can make things difficult. I wasn't aware that the consumer protection bureau could do anything about matters like this. I will look into it if my issues continue, thanks!!

It has gotten a lot better! I called in for something like the THIRD time about it. The Rep looked over the account and found a part that was outdated. After she got that updated, I sent a few messages to other people and myself as test runs. They sent pretty quickly!! It seems to be working so much better. I'm glad I made that last call!

I have been looking at getting this phone for me and my daughter. My best friend has one and she loves it. It is interesting to hear that you are having problems with yours. You are the first person I know of that has had any problems with this phone. I will be watching this thread to see if any else reports problems. I want to know as much about this phone as possible before I get it for me and my daughter.

My sister even purchased the same phone when she found that the Samsung Propel was out of stock at the dealer. I haven't heard of her having any problems with it. Rough luck on my part, I suppose!!

I would still try to get another replacement, as they are to help the comstomer no matter what, and even if you have had more than one replacement They shold be willing to help resolve the issues that you are having. It sounds like there are a lot of problems with the phone. I have enver had that happen and I have an LG phone but not the one you have. I have never had that problem with any phone I have ever had. I would get very frustrated if that happened to ne, as I get frustrated easily when things like that happen. Just keep after them until you get satisfaction. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I get easily frustrated too, which makes me feel bad physically due to a medical condition I have. I was trying to deal with it, but after months of issues I couldn't take it any longer. After I got a few responses here, I asked my husband to call them about it. I'll be going out today to get another SIM card. We actually spoke with someone who thought my SIM card might be defective. My husband upgraded his phone, so I used his old one and it still had issues sending pictures! It's looking like it may not be a phone issue after all! Good for LG!
