I used to do that a lot when I was still working as I don't have the time eat breakfast before leaving home. Either I pack my breakfast and eat it while driving or during traffic or I go to a drive thru and still eat it in the car while driving. But, I rarely do that during lunch. I eat in a restaurant with my colleagues even when we had to do it at 2pm. That's still lunchtime for us cause there are times that we can't have it at 12 noon.

If I am really hungry i do eat while i drive. I will take afew fries occasionally if I have gotten something to go and can't wait until I get home. I usually am safe and do not use a cell phone or put on make-up. I just listen to my music and get where i am going.

I never eat any thing while driving a car. I don't use the cell phone either. Those are interferences to the safety I would say. Yes, I know some of my friends would enjoy snacks while driving. But, ofcourse they have to be very careful. Especially when driving heavy vehicles, and long haul trucks on the highways !

I think it also depends on what I'm eating. Most of the time I only drive with one hand anyway. I eat with one hand and drive with the other. Don't get me wrong I would never take both hands off the wheel to eat something. Most of the time it's something like chips, fries, anything that I can handle with one hand. The main thing about this is while I'm eating something I never take my eyes off the road.

When I drive which is very rare because I don't like to drive, I only drive. I think its to dangerous to eat, talk on phone, apply makeup, drink while driving. If you are a passenger its totally different but the driver should only be driving. I can understand maybe drinking water at a red light but that is all. I've seen people reading a paper or book while driving.

Definitely not. I don't like driving that much because I have a short attention span. I cannot multi-task while driving, switching on the radio, talk on the phone, much less eat or drink. I give full concentration while driving to the point where I even tell my kids not to talk or move so much in the car.

I'm horrible at this I totally eat and drive almost everyday on my way to school but to be fair I'm driving down back streets where no one is and I'm going around 20mph. It's like 2miles. I don't eat and drive on main roads or the high way. I freak out when I'm drinking from a bottle or something on the high way when I have to take the cap off. I go fast on the high way so thats probavly why. The other morning I had a bowl of cereal on the way to school. Sometimes if I don't eat on the way I will be late and if your late to my school you don't get a parking spot.
