Oh! I wanted to be too many things! I loved my English and Science teachers. Why were they so beautiful and elegant. I loved the way they dressed. And so I was always trying to become their favorite student, hoping someday I would be like that. A few years later, it was the school principal, I loved the way people respected her. And then of course, actor, and doctor. I didnt know professions like Chartered Accountants, and Company Secretaries then - otherwise they would have been there too. Then it was Nancy Drew - I wanted to be lady detective! When Mills & Boon books landed on my hand, I fancied myself as a nurse, a governess, and a secretary. I wonder why those were the only professions for the girl in those books. Anyway, a bit later, it was journalist, and TV host. Landed into a simple accounts profession. :(
