As we grow older most of us give some thought to the meaning of life. Answers are not as simple as when we were younger, when we simply accepted what our parents told us. We realize now that they may have had some doubts themselves, yet passed on to us what they had been told as had generations before them. Anyone who is concerned about old age and death need only learn to look at nature and how there is a time and a season for all things, and realize that we can only live one day at a time. Even in these hectic times when everyone is rushing about as if trying to make more time, this remains true. Notice that the morning comes every day; the sunrise does not fail, nor the sunset. Whatever you are facing right now, give it time and that is all that may be required for time has a way of making all things right,do not try to push things. The cycles of life present themselves, play themselves out, and make smooth every passage and terrain. Try not to get caught up in your story of the moment but look, rather, to the long story for therein you will find peace. The cycles will redeem this moment too, if you let them, and whatever you're facing at the moment remember, that even this shall pass.

Hi Pose,
Yes, I look at things this way, everything shall come to pass. I can even add a line that goes "there is light at the end of the tunnel", a thought that gives us hope and a good reason to go on with life. There will be good times and bad, but what matters is we are able to appreciate these things for we know, there is a reason and a season for everything that happens.

Wow well said, I to always think during hard times
"this to shall pass" it's like what I live by. If my daddy
can die and I can still open my eyes, breath, and make
it though the day then I can get through anything... Liz
