Do you hate people who are show offs?

Well let's face it, are there any people out there that really enjoy people that show off and constantly brag? I've found that people that brag and show off become annoying within a few days and make me want to avoid them at all costs. The more they brag the greater lengths I'll go to so I can avoid them. Those that brag really are just full of themselves and need other people to believe they're so great.

Yes, those braggers do get to me. I have cousins that are like that and they just brag and brag about what they are going to get not what they have. They do get on my nerves. Happy Mylotting

i do.. to me if you are great at something then it will be recognized usually and you dont have to go telling everyone. it makes them look really insecure and is a huge turn off

Hi, jugsjugs. Well...i do not hate those people who like to show off, but definitely i do not like them. Ok, i used to have friend who likes to show offs and make fun on others. Honestly, i really do not like his behaviour and it made me mad sometimes. He seems wanted to make others look like idiot, or maybe he thought he had a good sense of humour. But most of us did not think so because his so called humour was built on making fun on others. And he likes to brag about things as well. Who knows whether it's true or not. But i don't give a damn. Basically, when i meet this kind of person, i will stay away from them. It's ok to hang out sometimes, but they are not the real friend of mine. ;-) Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I do not like to be around people who show off and brag about everything they have and how much money they have. I do not hate them though just do not want to listen to them bragging all time.

It is often because they have very low self esteem and have to sound good, and pretend to be someone better, in order to be accepted. I feel sorry for those people.

I do and I don't. Meaning there are people who are not really trying to show off or just bragging about things, they are probably just used to talk about those things that they have and use those things. I really can't explain it very well but I know if a person is just doing or saying things just to brag. So, I really don't mind as long as that person is not actually bragging or just making a hype out of what he has.

No, i really don't like people who are like that. I really don't like it, when people are show offs or keep bragging on and on about things. I just don't like it, which is probably why I really try not to do it at all.

Hey jugs! I also hate people who tend to show off! It usually means that they actually have to prove something to themselves! I really think that they are people with low self esteem and the only do it for attention. I have no tolerance for people like that. You know that people who are trying to be show offs have some sort of problem. They are usually also obnoxious and tend to have other personality issues too. I just tend to igore people like that.

I feel the same way as you do about people who are snobs, bragger, show offs. People like this turn me off completely. Yes they look like idiots. I just wonder what possesses people to be/act this way.

I feel the same way too. But I don't intend to tell them because if I do, they will surely think that I am jealous. I just ignore them and feel less interest to being their friend. I don't want to hang around with people like that. Its just annoying.

Actually in my opinion people who show off only makes fools of themselves.Now a days people can easily differentiate between the person who is working and who is showing off but they like to be entertained so everyone listens to them.But sometime its so irritating that it gets to me. When I try to confront such persons my friends stopped me saying "leave it everyone knows about him" so it has been going like that.So its better to sit back and enjoy the show off show...

Yeah,they indeed look like idiots.Why they like to show off?Do they don't know others hate them?I think they know.But showing off are something they like best.They can't help doing that.They prefer others' envious look.In our opinion,they are idiots.They might don't think so.They may think they live better than others.I have a colleague who always show off her branded shoes clothes.We say something good about her things or just give her a smile.That will satisfy her vanity and we have not any loss.I don't hate these people and i just think they are laughable.

I don't hate them, hating is not good all around. Still if I see some like them I just look for their weakness and expose it, so that quickly gets them off their high horse. lol

I just worked the other day with a man who spent about 1 1/2 hours telling me about the 8 languages he speaks, the 15 musical instruments he plays, the novels he is writing, the 4 religions where he is a minister, that he is an expert on tribes of Africa and various US Indian tribes (since he is 1/2 Indian). He is also a master chef and chess player. He is engaged to a woman who is 30 years younger than him and wishes she made more money so he would not have to work and could spend all of his time working on his novels and writing music. He might be a nice guy but I hope I don't work with him to find out.

Oh yes indeed! Show offs are so idiotic. I can't stand to watch it and the real funny thing is that usually others around see it too. I just try to ignore them or give what they want and at times it works. People are only human and some just don't get what they need else where so they think that by showing off they will get genuine input from others.
