Texbroker Waiting List

About how long does it take to get accepted/rejected by Textbroker.com, and do they let you know if you've been rejected? I hope I will be accepted because I really want to start earning as a freelance writer (if you guys have any other ideas for me that would be great--I know about Associated Content and Demand Studios so I will be applying to them as well) but I am afraid that in this horrid economy, their waiting list will be miles long. Has anyone applied and gotten a response recently, and if so, how long did you have to wait? Thanks! :)

I don't write for Textbroker, but I've heard that the waiting time can vary a lot.It depends on how many applicants are ahead of you, and whether Textbroker actually needs more writers at the moment. If you're in a hurry to start writing and making money, you can sign up at Associated Content. You don't have to apply. Each article is judged on its own merits, but that means sometimes they will be turned down for upfront payments. You can still publish as Display Only, which means no review and now waiting time, but you get paid only for page views.
