It's really such a sad issue that one of our staff died yesterday bcz of cancer. Although i didnt know her, but she is the head of our service department. when i entered this company at June, she just asked for sick leave bcz of being told that got a stomach cancer, till then she have been staying in hospital till yerstday. last night we were told that..she....passed away.. omg,we really cant believe this..bcz she is so young, only 24year old. and she is the only kid in her family, we really cant image how sad will her parents afford this. life is so fragile, 3months ago..she was one of us, smiling, singing, eatting together...now..she already left the whole world with her unfinished and never able to finish dream. i really dont know wt to say about this. just wish everyone i care good life, healthy. here, i really wish every friend in mylot lead in a happy life, best wishes

This is very unfortunate to hear. I find the young are dieing these days. Maybe god has big plan. Don't say she was unfinished in her life. You said she was happy. She probably accomplished all that she was to in this lifetime. She has her new life to look forward to in a new world. They Say God only takes the best. Her family would need to fucus on the good times they had with her. Happy lotting.

That is a sad news. Her passing away is more difficult to her family compared to her leaving them. Her family and friends will still carry the burden of her loss. It can be considered a torture for some because LOVE is there and love will surely be missed. My heart goes out to her family. Life must go on and i wish they continue what they are doing and recover easily. We were born, we will die---That's life!

You're very much welcome...Exactly!! Natural disasters are happening all over the world claiming millions of lives, the typhoon in the Philippines, the earthquake in Indonesia, the tsunami in Samoa (long list we have here)---Families of the deceased are really shocked. There were some families (all members of a family were wiped out). We need to continue living because no matter what, life must really go on. Your co worker on the other hand, wherever she is--I wish her happiness in her second life.

Oh my,what can i say about this sad news. She is way too young and an only child,i can't imagine how devastated her parents are. But life's really full of uncertainty and surprises. I know it would be very hard to accept, and let's hope for the best my friend.

I am so sorry that this young girl had to die so soon and in such an awful way. Many of my family members have passed from cancer. She is in a better place now and will never feel pain anymore but those who knew and loved her will suffer her loss. God bless you, her co-workers, friends, and family.

sorry to hear that...and condolences to her family... I am also 24 years old and for me my life had just started, for this age I married and have a baby... It's really too young for her to be gone. But as my late grandmother would say "we could never tell when our borrowed life be taken back"...hope her family could find comfort.

babyorchid, Some cancers are just difficult to diagnosed or discover early like stomach cancer. This is because the symptoms are usually that of a normal stomach upset being caused by gastric or food poisoning and most of the time all of us will just let it pass with some medication. I remember loosing a primary school classmate to stomach cancer also, right after our graduation and what took us by surprise even more was the fact that he graduate as a doctor. So, you can imagine the shock on top of my misery here. It really took me and some classmates some time to settle and accept this loss. I feel that a full body check over 2 years should be practiced to detect these dangerous ailments. Otherwise, it will be paying full attention to our body's irregularities to detect these form of ailments early and get a cure faster. My sincere condolence to your loss here and hope that it will help open your eyes to the importance of life and health issues. Take care.

I am sorry to hear that. may she rest in peace. stomach cancer, as i've heard, is insidious. A person won't feel symptoms until the cancer is in the late stage.

Being the only child, I can understand how my father would fee. I too wish u and mylotters, and for that matter, everybody out there, a very happy, and healthy life. May god bless u. :)
